I WAS impressed until all the drops last game. He alone stalled some drives that could have given Campbell more reps and the Skins more points.

Our thoughts? It was a bad game.

Nah, it was an intersquad practice & tryout. :oink:

Wow. The troll uses really poor bait and still manages to get a whole lot of bites.

1) Preseason
2) This coming from a Dallarse fan?
3) STILL Preseason.

I've never considered D'BOYZ a troll.

Well, consider him promoted to 'Troll'.

What else would you call obvious baiting?

Hey Guys I didn't actually saw the game followed it by Gamecast, but man your first team defense got torch for more then 140 yards rushing by a crappy Jets running game.

This is suppose to be your strength and the offense that even I believe it's going to be explosive has been non existence

And Man was Gibbs pissed after the game

what are your thoughts about all the things happening?

I dont know what happened to your franchise?
Looks like it needs to be redone like Jerry Jones' facelifts over the years.

Posted Quote from NFL.com regarding TO:
"Players like Owens obviously don't understand the significance of their actions. I really have wondered just how contrite Owens could be after his last debacle in Philadelphia, but with him wearing a Discovery Team cycling shirt and helmet, he's making a mockery out of Parcells and whatever rules the coach places upon injured players"

Dude, stop asking us what's wrong with our team and start worrying about your own.

Hi guys, this is my first post, kinda feel stupid that it is responding to thread started by a dallas fan. However I feel the same way, everyone is making a big deal about these preseason games. While the injury situation is unfortunate, the actual losses don't really matter. The Colts currently are on an 8 game preseason losing streak. I don't hear people saying that their looking bad for the season. Also if you all remember in 1991 when the Skins won their last super bowl they went 0-4 in the preseason. Like some of you all were saying these games are for the coaches to guage what players will actually make the team. By the way is anyone else impressed with the play of Mike Espy, he has been a pleasant surprise. Being loaded at wide receiver hurts his chances but I hope he makes it. Anyways let me know what you all think.

Solid first post.

I'm not quite so much in the camp of "ah it's preseason, it doesn't matter." Preseason doesn't matter for the teams who manage to turn things around before the season starts. But if you're a team who gets overconfident and doesn't change the attitude, or can't pick up the system, or can't get healthy, or can't get timing down between QB and WR, then you're not going to turn things around before the season starts.

We're in a situation where something has to change for us to be able to look back on this preseason and say "see, that preseason we went 1-3, looked like crap, and still made the playoffs." If something doesn't change, we're going to look back and say that preseason was a harbinger of things to come.

We have to:

A) Figure out why we look so bad. Is it overconfidence, injuries, lack of motivation, not understanding the system, not having timing down between QB/WR, vanilla schemes, etc.

and

B) Fix it in a hurry. There should be a sense of urgency on the part of the coaching staff and the players to enact change. And we should not just simply assume it's going to happen.

The thing is we still have a few weeks, so there is time. It's not time to panic yet. But if we don't see some signs of improvement in the last two games, it's officially time to check our expectations for the season.
