If it makes you feel any better - at least your're not a GIANTS fan!!! hahahaha!!!!

wha?

I feel great. Me and some fellas at the Merc bar here in NYC almost got in a fight with some vagiant fans becuase they couldn't take our taunting. You don't know what it is to hate the vagiants until you've spent some time here listening to those meatheads boast about how great their overrated, half-assed, POS team is.

I agree that eventually we do need to go deep, but I also believe we keep running it like we did today, and we keep building Brunell up with those smaller, high percentage passes, and eventually receivers are going to get open deep. Today was about getting some confidence back into Mark Brunell and the rest of the offense. Hopefully they will build from there.

I think that the receivers were open deep, more than once. Don't get me wrong, Saunders called a conservative short game today that the skins executed very, very well. I still would like to see Brunnel start seeing the field better, but I think that will come as he becomes more comfortable in the offense. When that happens, the long passes will start happening.

Portis opened a lot of things up and look what he can do in this offense when healthy. Its like this in the first preseason game we were moving on cincy before the int. Everybody was fired up, but when portis went down it seemed to have a domino effect on this team. Today we get portis back even though we played the texans and look at the results. Mohawk and all, Mr. Portis is the face of this team regardless how great a game anybody else has. Brunell did awesome today, mainly b/c of portis. Shovel pass was nice and 4th and 1 up the middle was better. J'ville will be a bit more steep of a challenge but i think we can do it. We finally broke the curse of the AFC. Nuff said i'm Drunk.

I think this team did a great job of spreading the ball around. If you were on defense where would you go? This offense had them guessing pretty much the whole time. just like a Redskin team BALANCED ATTACK. Also, having our play maker back was huge. I think this team needs to look at this as the first regular season game and set a goal for an undefeated record from here on out. If this team continues to improve an all fazes of the game the end of the year could be very special (shades of last year). Good job guys, and let's keep those penalties down.

Houston is awful. They had me worried on their first drive. All i can say is beating them is no way to gauge us. the true test is the weekend at fedex. I can assure you jacksville is pissed off. We still have to figure out how to get the vertical game working. The dump off's are nice and they produced great results. against houston.

The Texans are the worst defense I've seen in a while. Not only are they bad, but they looked as though they hadn't prepared for the game in any way. Bad players badly coached (on defense).

Having said that, you can only play the games on your schedule and there have been a few Redskins teams I could name in the last 15 years that would have sunk to the occasion. I like the fact that Gibbs wins the games he is supposed to win. Again, I think Brunell's performance is something to build on. Let us pray for the Health of Clinton.

That's why I don't want to toot my horn too loud and will reserve my acolades for when we play and beat a good team (a playoff team) As much as I love wins I couldn'd get a good guage on the true progress of the team because the team we played today is terrible. At least we didn't play down to the level of competition.

Houston is bad. so bad, that one player was enough to beat them today. a bit of hyperbole there, but seriously, against a playoff contending team we need to be using Moss and Cooley for more than little hitches. remember them?

Unless you were there, it's darn near impossible to see that on tv.

I think they said it best during the broadcast. 3 weeks into the season, Al Saunders can now see what he has to work with in game situations with Brunell so you can cut about 650 pages out of that 700 page playbook. And Portis makes all the difference in the world.

I'm glad we won and looked good doing it.
