BrunellMVP? 10-11-2006, 11:39 AM The fact that we are quoting specific plays (one from this year, and two from last year, week 2) speaks volumes as to brunell's quality. Simply put, with brunell, we aren't going to win a championship...the only times he does well are when the recievers make something out of nothing...on small dink and dunk passes (which are fine...but should not be the ENTIRE OFFENSE). we will not beat many teams that rightfully play brunell for what he is, a washed up hack. sad but true. bring on cambell.

I DON'T agree. When we DO win a championship I'll talk more about this....
BrunellMVP? 10-11-2006, 11:48 AM do you honestly believe we can win a championship? our D has not shown an ability to stop anyone (cornerstone of Championships)...and our O is erratic at best, and inept the rest of the time.
How do you see us even making the playoffs...0-2 in NFC east, 0-3 in NFC...i remind you that we made them last year on the back of a stellar end of year run, and an absurd NFC conference record...
time to switch teas, my friend.

I'm with you hess! Unfortunately, believers are a dying breed here.

"Believers" and fans are two different things. Believers are the type of people that think everything is fine, and Washington will be 13-3 or 12-4 at the worst at the end of this season. I actually heard that from a few people after the Giants game.
I am a die hard FAN of this team, and as much as I want them to win, I can also see their limitations. I commend believers for being able to maintain faith, but it's also a bit far fetched to think this team is performing anywhere close to championship level.

When I was growing up (back in the old Gibbs days), my father used to call the Redskins the “Heart Attack Skins”. .because they always seemed to come from behind.. it never seemed that easy.. and it was always stressful. It's how this team is. For some reason, it's our fate I think. Fight on, Fight on until you have won!!!! I HAVE FAITH! :)

Don't think people like hess, Matty, and myself (among others) don't realize we're not playing well. Or that there are several areas in which we have to improve. But we "believe" it can be done. There are plenty of people who have thrown in the towel. And that's fine, I choose not to be that way.
Actually, I believe it is the "Cardiac Skins"
JoeRedskin 10-11-2006, 01:20 PM I "believe" the Skins' will play this weekend. Beyond that, I make no further predictions. I call this a Martyball Prediction.
