Simple, next in line is Campbell and how bad he is, and how we grossly overated, and overpaid to draft him, and then turn that pick right back on Gibbs.

Or, just in case Campbell lights it up the topic will be, how Gibbs delusional loyalty towards Brunell cost us the season.

Don't worry I have thing's covered from every angle, thanks for your concern though.:D

shocker that you would have all the negative angles covered

Jason Campbell's GONNA' SUCK and it's Gibbs, fantasy land, no talent, draft pick tradin' fault, for paying ridiculous contracts for lousy FA's when the real talent is free!

After the embarrassment and humiliation we all have felt at work, in the mall, and in our on homes with Redskins haters when deserve to be pissed off at what we have seen this year. It was almost a repeat of the 2000 season when we ushered in Deion, Bruce, Mark Carrier and any other washed up player. Just when we have a good chemistry and identity, someone we drop Omar Stoutmire, Ryan Clark, Walt Harris and wonder why the defense is shit. I mean none of these guys are shut down corners but hell they never gave up this kind of yardage. I'm complaining about Greg Williams and his inability to correct the problem that this the secondary starting with Archuleta.

Good or bad, coach gets the praise, or blame. It's hard for me to believe, that those guys would have that kind impact in any way. Your not talking about ST, or Griff. Who know's?

Wow, there's a lot of PMS in this thread.

First off, I would "think" that many of us have tempered expectations of what Campbell is going to do. He could totally light it up, but I think many of us aren't expecting that much. It's the fact that we KNEW Brunell wasn't going to get any better. Campbell could honestly come in and do MUCH worse, but at least we know that we've seen all we could see from Brunell.

If we're looking for a new whipping boy, we of course can look at the defense. This week is a great week to help a sputtering defense. Maybe GW can remember why he used to blitz and maybe, just maybe, do that a bit on Sunday.

A new quarterback can inject a lot into a team. Even if the defense screws the pooch again, it's possible Campbell can outshoot the Bucs, something we couldn't expect Mark Brunell to do. Also, when you look around the league, you look at these young QBs.

They spread the ball around.

You can look at any aging QB in the league and just see that you can't teach old dogs new tricks. Brunell, thanks for the Monday Night Miracle, but it's time to move on.

Oh poor mark Brunell. I feel so bad for him. He fought his guts out every week and played smart for this team. Get over it, Mark Brunell is washed up and deserved every bit of criticism he got. I don't cry for Mark Brunell, he can rot away in his mansion and never be heard from again for all I care.

Brunell has held this franchise back for 3 years now, and it's time for us to groom another QB to eventually be the face of the franchise. The revolution will be televised.
MB does not make the decision of who starts and who sits. So if your going to blame MB for holding back the team you have to look at the coach who hired and started him.

For all of the complaining about the D, doesn't it seem like an offensive improvement (even a small one, like a touchdown a game in division games) would allow the defense to attempt more pressure and less 10 yard cushions.

And maybe they wouldn't be on the field for an entire half!

If we put up more points, GW can take a few more chances on defense. It isn't like he's been holding teams to ten points or anything, but if he believes that we can make it up on the offensive side of the ball, you'd think he'd go for some more pressure.
