Aliens: pretty sure there's gotta be some other form of life out there in the universe. Are there little green men like in the movies? Who knows, but there's gotta be something out there.
Ghosts: I'm on the fence. I've had some weird personal experiences that I cannot explain, and theories like alternate dimensions are pretty interesting. So who knows... I wouldn't rule it out.
mredskins 08-13-2009, 09:47 AM Anyone watch Paranormal State on A&E, outside of the gay physicit "Steve" it is a pretty good show. I just hate Steve cause he is annoying.
They have spooked me a couple of times.

KLHJ2 08-13-2009, 10:25 AM Furthermore, it is also quite likely that life forms out there are MUCH more advanced than we are. In terms of age of humans, it is almost nothing compared to the universe. Just on probability it is more likely the life out there has been around longer, therefore more advance.
Thinking about that, along with the fact the universe was created out of nothing(what was before the universe, what happens after, etc.) makes you feel very insignificant.
Anyways back to Skins talk.
I do not know that I would consider that fact. It is a Theory that has not been disproven. I am still stuck on the LAW that states "matter cannot be made up or destroyed", so making somthing out of nothing just doesn't fly with me. I am not saying that I know the correct answer because frankly, nobody does. Everyone just has thier own belief or theory that they role with. It's cool, I just don't believe any of them because no one was there to witness it.
FRPLG 08-13-2009, 10:32 AM I'm with ya... I havent watched it in a long long time, though... back when when Chris Farley and Adam Sandler were on it, I thought they would always be finding amazing talent, but its just not the case anymore...
Will Farrell is pretty funny, but in small doses...
I like Horatio Sanz, but I think just because he's a stupid fat guy... too many of their comedians make me uncomfortable to watch...
Their new crop is pretty good. Horatio Sanz is all skinny now. He lost like 160 LBs or something.

I'm not saying he's old...but Todd Collins was there to see it.

Funny.
While we are on the subject I had another wierd dream last night. I was playing golf with my stepdad and one of his buddies when the topic of "Life on other planets" came up. The gentlemen said "based on what I have seen after the return of the Chicago, I have every reason to believe that there is life on other planets. The Chicago brought some back!"
In my dream the "Chicago" is the new space shuttle. The alarm went off before I could find out where the shuttle came back from.

Paranormal State - A&E TV (http://www.aetv.com/paranormal-state/)For some reason I get hooked on that show, but I really believe it's a bunch of BS. I love how in EVERY episode someone always says either "what was that?" or "did you hear that" but the mics can never pick it up. Stupid sneaky ghosts!
On a related note, my aunt and uncle live in a house that was built in 1808 and if you want to hear hearing some freaky stuff in the middle of the night go sleep in the attic bedroom. I stayed there once when I was a kid and all night long it sounded like someone was walking up the narrow stairs into the room but could never quite get to the top.

Every show goes like this, we heard about a ghost in XXXX, PA so we decide to investigate. We meet with XXXX family and they are very scared. Checked out to make surre XXXX family is not crazy, they are fine (sure). Bring in the homo Steve, "omg I am getting a really bad feeling in this room". Have dead time and drive spirit away. Finish with XXXX family is doing great now.
It was good the first season now it played out.
