Well that is a good sign IMHO - the last thing we need is one of the NFC East rivals getting Pioli. Bob Kraft is a smart owner - even though he is considered one of the rich, influential owners he also knows a good personelle man/GM is hard to come by these days so he makes sure to spend his money keeping a good FO intact.

Not necessarily, Parcells might be inclined to keep him since they have worked together in the past.

yesterday on Around the Horn, Michael Smith said that the TO - Parcells marriage needed to end & if the boys keep TO, Parcells should take the Giants gm job.
Maybe that's where it started, or smith heard the rumor too?
