Has anyone been truly surprised by their results so far?

Slightly. I like George Allen and Mitt Romney a lot and they were #6 and #8 on my list. They were both over 70% though.

I was a bit surprised Hillary was so high (4th, practically 3rd) on my list. It's why I like surveys like this. Because it strips away my preconceived notions of a candidate and just looks at do I agree what he/she stands for?

I won't deny, there were at least two questions I totally didn't understand.

But Kerry just announced he's bowing out of the race before be "bowed in".

I was somewhat suprised that that Gore and Kucinich were so high for me because I basically said that I really don't care about the environment at all. Plus, I always thought kucinich was really just a mythical elf.

Ideally, that's a great concept...but when candidates change their views based on what crowd they're speaking for or what the polls say...it's tough to nail down which candidate is for you. Someone may sound great to you when they're talking to Group A, but you may hate what they say to Group B. John Kerry's a master at this "strategy". That's why he lost.

Politics. :pffff:

I pimped this site during the last election and I'll do it again. It hasn't quite been updated for 2008 yet but a great site to find out about candidates, their platforms, what they've said and how they've voted.
