Call it how you want but Taylor led all NFL safties with tackles and most linebackers.
That's because RB's were untouched going through our line and LB's. ST needs to play better next year. When he is healthy Bob Sanders is better than ST, and Sanders is only 5'8 and 190lbs and was a 2nd round draft pick.

Well i think he deserves it, if it wasnt for Sean we probably would have lost most games by alot more. Plus he deserved it his first two seasons and didnt get to go so this makes up for that. And to the guy who said Bob Sanders is better, are you serious, its funny how forgetful redskins fans are sometimes, the guy has one iffy season and hes all of a sudden Derrick Gibson, Bob Sanders is good, but hes definately not as good as Sean Taylor.

Sean had 129 tackles. espn had him at only 114 but that still gives him more tackles than any other saftey in the NFC and second in the league for safteys. It also makes him 20th in the entire nfl in tackles and 10th in NFC. Combine that with 3 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and one pick i think he deserves to be in there. Granted the reason he made so many tackles was because we allowed way to many runs to reach the secondary and our corners gave up alot of deep passes. However, I think Sean was required to do so much more this season because of the inability to stop the run and defend the pass. He basically had to clean up the mess that everyone else left him, and the stats prove he rose to the occasion. As bad as our defense was this season, its hard to imagine us staying with any team in the league without Sean Taylor. This is first of many probowls for Sean Taylor.

I know he plays in the AFC. I'm just using him as an example. He is what I call a playmaker at safety. Indy's defense is not the same when he is out of the lineup.

Yes I'm serious and your the moron. ST was out of position on so many plays it was ridicules. Plus he's always trying to knock somebody out. Always trying to make Sports Center. I like his hustle and the intimidation factor. But he needs to learn how to be more disciplined.

Skinsfan is right that ST had a bad season, but when the front 9 struggle, there isn't a safety in the league that isn't going to look bad. You put Bob Sanders or Ed Reed or Ronnie Lott or whoever into this year's skins d and they are going to struggle.
Bob Sanders is a great player, but I wouldnt trade ST for any safety in the league, other than maybe Reed.
