We bought the 42" version of the Sony 46" Grand WEGA™ LCD Projection TV (KDF-46E2000). Very pleased with the picture and price. I'm pretty sure they discontinued it though.

Also, a co-worker just told me not to mount it above the fireplace... but everyone I know with a plasma screen has it mounted above a fireplace... wtf? Its not like the heat above the mantle is anything serious... is it? It doeasn't get that hot up there... The thing to keep in mind is plasmas throw off a lot of heat, so any additional heat even if it's just minor could be a problem. | |
