Actually I think that's a funny idea.

Let people put their money where their mouth is. We always hear how people are fed up and done with the team if they do this or that, well, let's see who's for real.

Personally I wouldn't go that far, but I do think it's funny.

ES could afford to shake loose from a few morons anyway.

People are angry because they think that they are on the losing side of a trade. People love the team. Put the two together and you get a bad combination that leads people to make overblown statements like, "I'm done." So, I don't think Art's threats were at all appropriate. Moreover, such threats are likely to "chill" debate - people might be reluctant to express opinions critical of front office moves.

I totally disagree with people who attack the Redskins for any move because they are perpetual pessimists, but I also don't care for people with a "love it or leave it" attitude who think that any criticism renders you some kind of anti-fan.

You must be in love with me, that's the second time in the past few days that you've quoted a post with an icon. Sorry, not interested. ;)

Yeah I hear ya.

Treating an 'extreme' situation with an 'extreme' cure isn't the answer. LOL

On a side note I can't help but think of Office Space whenever I hear the word extreme. All I can think of is that weasel of a waiter saying,

"So can I get you gentlemen something more to drink? Or maybe something to nibble on? Some Pizza Shooters, Shrimp Poppers, or Extreme Fajitas?"

Yes I looked up the quote.

Well on one hand we do have lots of disagreeing going on around here today. Porterhouse should be proud he put us all in our place.

I'm still baffled that these people actually call some of these sites 'forums'.

Ha, I just giggled like a fat girl eating cake. I love that line.

Here's yet another example of how we are not as bad as mods from other sites. Extremeskins members were talking about how they would be "done" with the team if the Briggs trade went through. Art, the founder of Extremeskins, said, "This thread exists for people who wish to declare they are no longer willing to follow this team. I'll add a poll. Please put yourselves on record. If we do this, you're done. Say it so we can help you out." In other words, Art threatened anyone who said they were "done" with the Redskins with banishment.
I think you looked a bit too far into it...And while I am not a regular reader of ES, it seems that Art was poking fun at those people ready to dump the Skins because of this rumor, as opposed to "threaten banishment". I'd imagine that's what the smilies are for...he could simply be trying to show some of the fans that they are jumping the gun so to speak.

Or I could be totally off my rocker...I'm pretty sure the alcohol isn't completely out of my system from over the weekend.
