There's not a lot that any QB can do from lying on his back 10- 20 times per game. You could be Peyton Manning, but if you don't have a good O Line to protect you, then you'll look crappy. I think Carr has great potential, he's just in a sticky situation. A change of scenery would probably do him well.
PS. Aaron Brooks hasn't really done anything in the NFL and Oakland wanted him last season. Just saying
You hit the nail on the head. I've got one word for Schaub. Duuuuuuuk!!!!

Well the Texans went ahead and just flat out cut David Carr (and Domanick Williams, formerly Davis)

What about Oakland? He'd be back near his hometown of Bakersfield, and the Raiders could then take Calvin Johnson with the top pick
Kubiak is supposed to be a QB guru so it certainly doesn't say much for Carr given that he gave up on him after one year.

You can be the best QB guru in the world, but if you don't have someone who is an offensive line guru, your QB won't be worth a crap.

Hmm, yeah that sounds even better. Calvin Johnson seems like a Raider-type pick anyway.
Can I take my money back and put it on the Raiders?

Carr, Harrington and Ramsey. So much for the QB class of 2002.
Also chosen that year:
Josh McCown, Arizona (3rd round)(On Detroit Roster 2006)
David Garrard, Jacksonville (Still with Jax)
Rohan Davey, New England (4th) (Last Played in 2004)
Randy Fasani, Carolina (5th) (Last Played 2002)
Kurt Kittner, Atlanta (5th) (Last Played 2003)
Brandon Doman, San Francisco (5th)(Never Played)
Craig Nall, Green Bay (5th) (On Buffalo's Roster in 2006)
J.T. O'Sullivan, New Orleans (6th) (Last Played 2004)
Seth Burford, San Diego (7th) (Never Played)
Jeff Kelly, Seattle (7th) (Never Played)
Wes Pate, Baltimore (7th) (Never Played)
Not a particularly stellar year for QB's.

Man, I didn't think they would end up dumping Carr, insane. I guess he wouldn't mind though since that would be the best way he would end up on another team.

Schaub stats aren't as good as Cambells and Cambell has only played 7 games.
When are the Texans going to learn that all that money in a unproven product is not going to get you to the next level...has anyone seen my stone?...last I had it, it was thrown toward that glass house.
