My ideal:

Trade down to the 9-12 spot, get OKOYE, and a 2nd round pick. OKOYE

I couldn't agree with you more!!!

Calvin Johnson cause he is the best player in this draft.

I think if we traded down to somewhere between 6 and 31, we could find Branch there for the taking due people assuming that a workout at a pro day tells you anything about a guy.

So, based on that analogy, perhaps the Redskins could complete a trade with the Bears for the #6 pick in exchange for their 31st pick, and still have an opportunity to draft Branch at # 31. I really do like those odds.

I'm changing my vote to:
Trade for Briggs and draft Paul Posluzny at #31 (Poz's college number, by the way) so that we can play a 1-6 defense with Cornelius Griffin, Briggs, Washington, Flecther, Marshall, Poz, and McIntosh.

I had no idea where you were going with this and I was starting to get pissed that someone would want even more linebackers, but now I like where you're headed. The offensive line would be so confused they'd soil themselves.

Sure. I just figure if we want Briggs so bad on top of the three starting linebackers we already have (and a player we moved up to draft last year in the 2nd round), maybe that's the way G. Williams is going with the defense. I mean, heck, if they're that willing to ignore the d-line, maybe they're thinking of moving to a 3-4........so why stop there?........who needs a 3-4 when you can keep stockpiling LBs and go to a 1-6.

(obviously these posts are dripping with sarcasm)

LOL that was great!!!! The only problem is that we would still need at least 1 decent DT. But lets be reasonable I think they would prob. use a 2-5 on running downs and go to the 1-6 on passing downs.
