At this point I don't think JC is there yet but he could improve as the season goes on (esp after that early bye week). I think the play of the O-line will be key to his success like others have said but more importantly I think our Defensive play will dictate HIS success (not just the teams). If he is put in a situation like he was many times last year of having to win games or come from behind, its going to put unnecessary pressure on him and he may stumble. If the D can actually stop a team once in awhile and HOLD THE LEAD, campbell will be able to build up his confidence and develop into a solid QB for years to come. This season is really going to define him as a player, IMO, cuz its gonna be tuff in the beginning and if he can weather that initial storm he could be really good.

Then trade him for 2 picks, a six pack and a Superbowl Trophy.

the little bit we saw of JC in those last 5 games was just a glimpse of what i think he brings to the table. He has been a winner at every level and thats something you just cant teach. He also has those intangibles that a winner has and with that being said if portis and the oline can stay healthy i look for JC to have a break out season.

I see around 22-25 TDs, 3200-3500 yds, 10-12 ints. I think he will be the second best QB in our division behind McNabb (if McNabb can stay healthy). Someone on this site said "Eli Manning = Billy Ripken." I love that analogy. I say Eli Manning is John Kitna with a flashy last name. And I think Tony Romo is about as overrated as any player in the league. Now that D-coordinators finally have some film on him, he will struggle (I hope).
You know this is the first time since high school JC has worked under the same offensive coordinator for 2 straight years?? I think he has all the tools and the supporting cast to be a very good starting QB. He's the player I'm most excited about this year, regardless of who we draft.
I really see his interceptions a lot higher then that - He through a few last season and liked to throw them at Auburn. I like him and all I just wouldnt be too optomistic.

With the mentality of a starter, an off-season were he's taking more snaps, and the O-line holding up I think he'll lead the NFC East in stats. Mid to upper 20's it TD's. But, if the line can't protect him were in for another long season. That will determine what we see from him.
The one worry I've always had about JC is that he's so tall behind the center, how long can his knees take the stress? If the center steps on his foot it could cause one hell of an injury to his knee while he's turning and standing at the same time. But...I hope that never happens!

He is a new NFL quarterback ... I expect him to perform as one.

I agree w/much if not all of what's been said already.
I am really psyched to see him develop cause I believe he'll be a great qb. Not necessarily a guy w/huge #s, but a great decision maker & clutch player. I remember watching him beat my Hokies in the sugar bowl in 05 & I was thinking that the skins should take a look at him. I had no idea we'd trade up to get him, but I'm happy we did. He gives us stability at qb we haven't had since Frerotte & Johnson.
I'm predicting a very strong season for JC.
If you look at his last 3 starts last year he posted a pretty solid 87.1 QB rating with 4 TDs and only 1 INT.
I can see him throwing 20+ TDs and 3000+ yards.
