GMScud 05-27-2009, 01:47 PM He is all yours baby! Enjoy.
Also, an NBA coach is about as useful as tits on a bull. They don't do a damn thing. Even when they are "wired" up listen to what they have to say. "OK guys we need to hustle, really get after the ball, we got these guys." All the while the players are all just goofing off as he is speaking. Would it not be cheaper just to get a tape recorder and hit the play button at everytime out?
Right, because he didn't draw up the play that freed up Rashard Lewis for that 3 pointer that pushed it to OT.

He also admitted fault on defensive assignments to lose some games this playoffs. So yeah of course they are not useless but some are quite overated in their value. Phil Jackson...

i pretty much agree with this. at least come game time. they are all about practice, and execution. most of game time they are crying to the refs. just like every one else. that's part of what makes me laugh about people saying Lebron cries too much. there isn't one single player/ coach that doesn't cry. M.J. cried all the time. so did Bird. what about Duncan? always crying to the refs
mredskins 05-27-2009, 05:13 PM Come game day the Point Guard or Star player does the majority of the play calling. KC Jones has even said Bird did most of the coaching during their time together.
I think there are a lot grudges here towards James becuase he seems to always beat the Wiz (not hard to do).
I agree the majority of players cry, Paul Pierce does it all the time. Part of the crying is justified because calling an NBA game is so "gray" you never know what those damn referees are going to call thus, people get pissed off.
IMO and I love the NBA it is the closets professional sport to the WWE. I love how McDonalds already has comercials about James and Kobe hoping (yeah right) that they will meet in the playoffs. I would not be a damn bit surprised if Ceveland storms back in this series and wins it.
dmek25 05-27-2009, 06:10 PM can you smell what David Stern is cooking? ;)
GMScud 05-28-2009, 10:19 PM And they pick up right where they left off. 3 fouls on Pietrus already, all by way of LeBron. The 3rd foul was as bad as the foul called on him at the end of game 4. LeBron slips and gets a whistle. It makes me want to throw stuff at my television.

Dude seriously why do you care so much about Cle and/or Orl? Would you rather have Kobe win it all, no thanks. JAmes is the only one who can stop him.

Eh, you're wrong. Orlando beat LA twice this year.... In LA.
I like Orlando because Dwight Howard is by far my favorite non-Wizard player in the league. I love watching him play. Also, my girlfriend grew up in Orlando and she's a big Magic fan. Plus as a Wizards fan, I can't stand Cleveland. LeBron is a selfish crybaby. He's great at saying and doing all the right things when it's going well for Cleveland. When he runs into adversity? Well, we all saw how he handled that loss. Poor sport.
The Cavaliers spent all season dancing around with their little pre-game choreographed routines, throwing talcum powder in the air, and in general just being a very cocky team. They never thought they would be anywhere but on the podium accepting a trophy from Commissioner Stern come mid-June. Oops.
hooskins 06-02-2009, 01:30 PM I had a lot of respect for lebron until he didn't congratulate Orlando. What a sore sport, and then worst is he tried to justify it.
He says that he is a winner and he isn't a bad sport; bullshit everyone wants to win and not being man enough to accept defeat face to face is weak and bad sportsmanship.
Even Kobe, who most of us consider an ass, is man enough to deal with defeat.

Ok then...(walks away quietly)
I personally don't really care that much. Good luck to your Magic, they will need it.
