Lady Brave 07-12-2007, 04:34 PM I was thinking it may need another thread too, but interesting no doubt.
It would be interesting, but for those who aren't into the books or movies, it might come off more as an inside joke between those who have.
I'll have to think about it. I'm not the best at writing. SS is much better suited to do something like that. I should probably stick with directing.

Oh, I'll only take a flat 5% of gross sales; Only because you're a Warpather.
JoeRedskin 07-12-2007, 04:41 PM Here's my prediction for the 7th Book:
Snape dies helping Harry kill LV. Snape is actually good. He and Dumbledore planned for Dumbledore's death so that Snape could "prove" his loyalty to LV. Then at the crucial moment, Snape sacrifices himself to help Harry kill LV. Snape's motivation for doing so will have something to do with his love of Harry's mom.
You read it here first. lol
firstdown 07-12-2007, 04:43 PM Rowling just said she's not adverse to writing yet another Potter book, didn't she?
Anyhow, true story, several years ago I'm working at this tv station and I get this message about some new author who had written a fantasy book about a young wizard and was looking to promote. So I said sure why not, we've got a lot of moms watching the news at this time. Maybe this is a book they could get for their kids.
So long story short, I made the pitch for us to book JK Rowling on our show. Little did I know she'd become as rich and famous as she is today.
Here's Smoot throwing around another name. Maybe we need to start calling him Snootsmack.

Yeah, but only two characters will die right? So your theory is that Snape and LV will die. I don't think so because Rowling has indicated that a beloved character will die. She said there has to be a sacrifice because "we're dealing with pure evil here".

I guess it I assumed it was always a given that LV would die and that he was not one of the characters subject to the death count. I stand by my Snape prediction, and I'm throwing in Hagrid just 'cause.
skinsfanthru&thru 07-12-2007, 06:51 PM the movie was good but I would put in either second or third behind Prisoner of Azkaban as #1 and a toss up between Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix as my second or third favorite. the final action sequence was sweet as hell.
70Chip 07-12-2007, 08:37 PM My favorite "Potter" film is "It's a Wonderful Life".

3 characters were supposed to die, but JKR gave one a reprieve. I think it's going to be Hagrid and LV, but I have a sick feeling it might be Hermione instead. I don't think Harry could stand to lose Ron. Harry's had too much tragedy. JKR can't kill off his best friend too. On the other hand, Ron has had the benefit of growing up in a loving family. His only real personal conflict has been growing up in his brothers' shadow. How sad would it be for him to lose Hermione? By losing her, only then could he truly relate to the pain Harry has went through. :(
