So all of you "I want him out" screamers are comfortable with Todd Collins and Jordan Palmer if they have to fill in to save the season?
This would be a great idea for the Falcons and a HORRIBLE one for us. Having an experienced backup is important.
Just ask the Eagles about experienced backups...

Bramlet is higher on the depth chart than Palmer. And no, i want to keep Mark.
Ooooooh...
So do we want a QB who hasn't started a game since 1997 and has 17 career TDs with 19 career INTs or an unemployed NFL Europa player or a 6th-Round rookie from the big football powehouse UTEP to take over for Campbell if something happens? :cheeky-sm

Yeah, Garcia did GREAT for them.

I wouldn't lump Mark Brunell and Jeff Garcia in the same pile.

Can anyone remember the last time we had a 300 yard passing game? Was it Patrick Ramsey?
It probably was but Gibbs is so in love with Brunell that he benched the guy for his man. If he didn't bench Ramsey he would be here now as our starter but instead Gibbs crushed the guys igo and ruined him as a QB.

Why? Garcia was washed up (or so everyone thought) before he got a shot. He was smart and experienced though, just like MB.

Scary! Funny how when someone else wants him, we then see how much we NEED him!!!!
Ha Ha!!! Very true!
I've never been a Bruell basher, but there are plenty on this forum. I think it would be ridiculous to trade him unless we were offered the world in return. Simply no need to trade your best qualified veteran backup, a proven quarterback, when you have an umproven, essentially nothing more than a rookie quarterback as your starter in Jason Campbell. If JC struggles mightily or gets hurt, Mark Brunell is the only chance this team has to go anywhere.

Wow - Can I have some of the happy juice your drinking.
Why did I know that any debate about Brunell would inevitably lead to the one, the only twice cut, couldn't beat out a rookie and candy-armed QB, back-up QB for Denver (who, nonetheless, is still a great guy)?
