Wow. Favre for the win--so much for Cutler's comeback! (Listening on the radio...) Reminds me a bit of the Giants game--Denver had it on the two basically, and couldn't get it in, after Cutler drove them down there. But they were only down 3 and not 7, so they tied it with the kick. GB won the toss and Favre hits an 83 yard TD on the first play. Man.

How's old Champ feeling? Poor fella. Denver is 3-4, with a crappy D. We are 4-3 with a crappy O. Go figure. Maybe they'll trade Champ back with a pick for Portis. We could each use the help. J/K!!!!

I think I loather Denver more than any team outside our division. And, of course, I was rooting for them to win tonight to help our cause....and of course they go and lose. Losers!

Cutler is fine, he'll be a good QB

I, too, loathe Denver--and they let me down the one time I root for them. Dorks.

So, we've lost to a 8-0 team, a 6-1 team, and a 6-2 team. And we we're leading at half against the latter two. I KNOW we have not played our best football yet, so that much is encouraging, if you look at it that way. Seems people don't want to, and I understand why. But all is not lost with the Skins. Solidify the O-line, execute some friggin plays, and we'll be in this thing.

Yeah, he has a lost fumble tonight.

I don't think it really matters to compare these guys...it's a lost cause. We're trying to make ourselves feel better for the poor play of Campbell, that's all this is. I suppose we need to give ourselves a shot in the arm after that horrible game on Sunday, but masking Campbell's poor stats isn't how to do it.

Haven't you been an ardent Campbell supporter? Not trying to call you out, just trying to clarify your position.

No one is really saying that. People are jumping to conclusions cause Gibbs play calling or overall decision making was in question, and Campbell is playing poorly. Not sure I have heard many people at all trying to run Portis out of town.

I think it's OK to question our leaders. Gibbs and Campbell are not untouchable, nor are the perfect. We don't need to blindly think everything they do is gold. It's not. None of us are thinking we need another option at either position.

Well there are at least 10 people on this site that want him benched.

Bly got smoked! Guess denver is a pretty good place for him.

Champ didn't look that good either, for two "shutdown corners" they didn't do much shutting down!

Shows how very important a pass rush is for a CB, in my opinion. And Denver lost Lynch early in the game, which really hurt them overall.

But I am not crying for them!

I wouldn't say I want him benched, but I want to see a lot more Ladell, or at the very least an acknowledgement from Redskin Park that trying to shove CP up the ass of an O-Line in tatters repeatedly is not going to win us any ballgames.

Since we're talking about Campbell here, let's talk about who he's throwing to. Anybody want to guess who the receiver with the second most drops in the NFL is this season? Hint: it's not someone who plays for the Broncos!

Both guys are young and still getting their feet wet. What's the point of comparing them?

Cutler:

G GS Comp Att Pct Yds Avg TD Int
6 6 120 181 66.3 1,406 7.8 7 8

Campbell:

G GS Comp Att Pct Yds Avg TD Int

6 6 100 168 59.5 1,181 7.0 5 5

As you all can see Cutler is no better than Campbell, stats are pretty comparable. Both young QB's with same experience level.Actually, those stats show Cutler to be A LOT better than Campbell is.

But if I was a betting man, I'd gamble that those numbers would be close at the end of the year. It's an excellent comparision, and I expect their careers to somewhat mirror each others.
