I just came up with an unstoppable running scheme with the Redskins online for the ps3!
First thing you have to do is change your depth chart to Jansen as your # 2 Tight End (With the roster update he will be on the bench anyway with wade starting)
Strong I formation
Twin tight end
Hb blast ( I like to put Jansen in motion and hike it when he's in front of the right gaurd)
Another good one is;
Strong I formation
Twin tight end
strong toss ( put jansen in motion to the out side so he takes out the db and sometimes spring portis for a touchdown!)
I use Atlanta's offensive play book.
the Redskins playbook stinks.
Anyone else have some plays to make the Redskins dominate on Madden 08?

I use the skins playbook and am thinking about switching...
my record is only 7-9, but ive played alot of noobs that quit if they dont make one of their first 3 fourth down conversions or some dumb shit...
I like the play action tight end leak out of the i form close using the wr swap to put moss on the left side streaking...
if you get an unfavorable matchup on moss, cooley usually pops open pretty quick...
I still have trouble with jc passing, though...

I have stayed with the skins playbook.
Using the inside running game seems to work better for me than the counters, and sweeps. In other words I use dives out of the various singleback formations. I sub Sellars in as my second TE in singleback.
I usually stick to slants and Ins in the passing game. I seem to complete more passes that way.
Everyone has pretty much caught onto the close I PA TE leak, even if you do put Moss on the left streaking downfield it is not a high probability pass.
When I do go deep, I use Moss or ARE in the slot and look for a fovorable match up against the D. If they take away the Deep route from the slot Receiver, the slant or in Pattern is there for a 7+ yard game. When they try to take away the slants and ins, the Streak opens up.

On defense I use the 4-3 playbook
My best D is:
Nickle Normal
Silver shoot pinch
I change the package until I put Landry in the slot so he's blitzing the quarterback.
I also flip the play alot
You need to go to press coverage .
It stops the run and the pass pretty effectively.
If they are using play action alot you need to press up on the right anolog stick when they hike the ball to commit to the pass so landry goes straight at the QB for a sack!
I used to use champ bailey in the slot back in the day.
He could chase down vick when scrambling.

inside blitzes work great as well...
i found that if you run the nickel normal over storm brave (I THINK thats what its called) you send the LBs up the middle...
if you control griffin on that play and scoot him over to directly cover the right guard, fletch will usually shoot right by.
spread formations against scramblers I like to blitz one or both of the inside corners and mix up the coverages... that seems to force turnovers

I don't have Madden 08, but here are some things that have always worked for me on previous versions:
West Coast playbook-
4WR shotgun - HB option. Use strong slot to put Moss in the slot, and look for him to beat the FS. If he is covered, CP is usually open in the middle of the field.
Balanced D playbook-
Quarter formation - Under Smoke. Spread out your d-line, and just watch the QB go down. Works almost every time. I had 17 sacks in a game with just one player using this play. If you want, you can also substitute your quarter d-back with Taylor or Landry, but it'll work with just about anyone.
