I think hes referring to the fact that we beat them by 31 points GTripp0012 11-11-2007, 09:13 PM You really have no idea what your talking aboutFine, you can go on believing whatever crazy theories you want to believe. Don't challenge and not expect a response though. Then you are just waisting the time of those who really want answers. hurrykaine 11-11-2007, 09:13 PM Talk to you at the end of the year, by then you'll be praising Gibbs. Sure. Expect to see the exact same thread next week after an a$$whipping at Dallas. GMScud 11-11-2007, 09:14 PM With the way Brian Westbrook violated our D, and when Portis was gauging the Eagles run defense, I just wonder why Gibbs didn't go for it when it was fourth and inches two different times. Our overall lack of balls is "ridicules." Gibbs always talks about those "momentum changing" plays. Funny how we're never the ones making them. We gotta man up once and while. The only ounce of stones I've seen all year was the on-sides kick last week. GTripp0012 11-11-2007, 09:15 PM I think hes referring to the fact that we beat them by 31 pointsI know, I agreed with him on the Detroit point. In case you haven't figured it out yet, me and Grim don't agree on very much. In fact, you could say we find each other pretty repulsive. But we are a better football team than Detroit, and we did prove that pretty convincingly on the field. skinsguy 11-11-2007, 09:15 PM With the way Brian Westbrook violated our D, and when Portis was gauging the Eagles run defense, I just wonder why Gibbs didn't go for it when it was fourth and inches two different times. The first time, yes, I would've went for it. The second time, no way you go for it. We were only up by 2 points. At least kicking the field goal forced the Eagles to get into the end zone rather than going up by one with a field goal. SouperMeister 11-11-2007, 09:16 PM Those front four were getting through our protection. I did see the play thank you. The linebackers dropped back so there was nowhere to throw the ball to. A draw play at least gave us a chance to score and at least gave us a chip shot field goal. I will take any gain on that play rather than a sack and a loss or worse, Campbell getting hit and fumbling. It was exactly what we should've called on that play.On a draw, the tackles should allow the ends to charge upfield, which they did just fine, but with the LBs staying home, that play had ZERO chance of working. I recall a third and goal play just before the half in the first Philly game this year where the coaches trusted Campbell to make a play - that worked out pretty well. FOX even flashed Campbell's red zone stats: 6 TDs, 0 INTs. I trust that if nothing is there he'll throw it out of the end zone - no harm. I just like my chances more with Campbell passing on 3rd and goal from the 7 A LOT MORE than running in that situation. We'll just have to agree to disagree on that count. skinsguy 11-11-2007, 09:17 PM On a draw, the tackles should allow the ends to charge upfield, which they did just fine, but with the LBs staying home, that play had ZERO chance of working. Thats cool, I really have no problems with anyone on here, Im just not that nice of a guy after a loss GTripp0012 11-11-2007, 09:21 PM Thats cool, I really have no problems with anyone on here, Im just not that nice of a guy after a lossFew people are. I'm cool with you, GiantsSuck. When I disagree with you on a point, I'll let you know about it. You've earned your keep around here in a civil manner in the past, so I can deal with some frustration after a loss. That's normal, I guess. |
