JC's stats are somewhat comparable to PR's so I am not all too sure this guy is stating something that is out of line or remotely nasty enough to piss off the Skins to be honest.

I said he had perhaps the best day that all the WRs have had all year. It wasn't just the short TD passes it was some of the other balls he caught down the field that were impressive and really set the tone for the passing game. I believe he had two 31 yard receptions.

I hear ya, I just think the other WR's are much better, why their production has been down needs to be explored more deeply.

You do know what my answer to that one is I am sure?;)

What's Dallas week without a little trash talking? Goes back to the Landry and Allen era.

Hell yeah! Where's the smack? Damn it is Redskins/Cowboys week! No one gets more fired up about a rivalry game! You can't tell me that you do not circle this date on your football calender as soon as the schedule is released!

yeah but were are missing 4 of our key players for this game 5 if Moss doesnt go. So it is not as intense as it would be if we had our starters or if we were 7-2 or 8-1 like we should be.

I agree the offense needs to open up more, but I'm sure even you were encouraged by some of what you saw last week with the no huddle offense and JC going down the field much more often. I really hope we see more of that this weekend.

That really wasn't a slam by any stretch, I mean he was telling the truth. We are just going to take it as that because he's a Dallas player.

I think we pretty much put the ball in his hands and even gave him more control (no-huddle) last weekend.

Yeah I agree except for the last series we got into the red zone and ran 7 or 8 run plays in a row. That had Joe Gibbs written all over it. Otherwise, the ball was in JC's hands and the results were impressive all around.

I didn't touch on that this week but yes, I was very encouraged with the fact that Campbell seems to have been turned loose some this past week, I believe that has to happen if he is going to continue to progress, anything short of that will be a waste of his time in the learning, and experience department.

LOL blame Gibbs at any cost. Typical.

I think SC has a valid point regarding the WRs. Moss and Randle El have both been dinged up which has hurt their effectiveness. The fact that Thrash stepped in and had perhaps the best day our WRs have had all year is pretty startling and says something about Moss and ARE. Don't get me wrong on ARE, he's had a decent season and has come close to breaking the goal line a few times, but Moss has been a huge disappointment.

If we must insist on blaming Gibbs, if anything blame him as President for not having the right pieces in place for the offense to succeed. The gameplan is there, the talent (whether through skills or injuries) isn't always there.

Either way, I agree with Cowell. These comments are being blown way out of proportion

Before anyone tells me about how great these WRs were or have the potential to be, allow me to remind everyone that the number of TD catches by S. Moss PLUS A. Randle El PLUS B. Lloyd for 2007 equals ZERO. Even the no-account Jets and Dolphins have WRs who have caught TDs this year.

Not only that but look at the number of drops and missed catches this year. Right now Campbell is 156 for 261 59.8% 9TDs and 7INTs

We know that Moss can account for roughly 6 drops alone at GB, ARE and others can account for a few as well. Plus a couple of those INT's went right through the hands of a receiver, so you figure the receivers catch at least 10 more passes that were sure fire in thier hands Campbell probably looks more like this:

166 for 261 63.6% 11 TD's 5 INT's. Thats a very decent year for a second year starter.
