Very, very well said, Smack!!

(Welllll, except for the trade bait comment - I disagree - only because he has almost no trade value yet. If we develop him more and showcase him, he could have some nice value.)

Thank you...and yes, Hasselbeck doesn't have trade value now but maybe we can use the summer to develop him into someone who does. Not at the expense of the development of the other two quarterbacks though

One of the most important things about this particular fan site: Bring a sense of humor.

Brid, no one is trying to belittle you, just a friendly jab or two.

I did not care about jabs at me espcially if they are warranted. Jabs and jokes or whatever are fine, I love to laugh and on numerous occasions i have laughed at comments here. But I never took anything that was said in this thread personnally just felt bad for the poster of the thread. I never said he would be a starter or a pro bowler, just that he should get a chance to showcase what he has if anything in a preseason game. And Jabs that is fine but go back through the thread, I dont know how many times the same joke was told; like i said earlier it could have been funny when the first comment was hey "mcullogh (sp) had a good game lets start him over portis". And it went on from there with the same continous comment or idea. There was nothing worth wild in those other comments, other than to demean the person who posted the thread.

In actuality I am a pretty mellow guy who usually does not let things bother me. For some reason this just go to me, and for that I apologize. I am just a huge football fan who hates the Cowboys and the Ravens.

I don't believe in Mark Brunell and I don't believe in Tim Hasselbeck. I don't think anyone in the NFL throws a more interceptable ball than Hasselbeck. I don't think "catchable" should be allowed to be said; they're professional receivers! They should be able to catch just about anything, all having a quarterback that throws a lollipop does is make it easier for the defense to come down with it.

brid...I do not post very often becuase I am not exactly the most knowledgable Redskin fan...I love this site because I am learning so much every day. When I do post, I expect to hear a variety of responses....that's what makes this site great. If it's a jab at what I said then I take it as a joke and maybe give it back...or learn from it.

There are other sites out there, for instance, ExtremeSkins and HailRedskins, but they pale in comparison. The only thing good about Extremeskins is the Daily babe thread and that has nothing to do with football...HailRedskins, to me is just plain, "yawn," boring. Opinions are valued on this site even though it doesn't always appear that way.

oh, and if you have political views let's hope they are the same as Sammy Baugh Fan. You want to talk about taking jabs.....

Just kidding SBF.
