Well, we'll see if Gibbs II has actually rebuilt the infrastructure of the team into a winning organization. My feeling is that he left one year too soon. Hopefully, I am wrong.

You would think they'd preface that by saying "This is all pure speculation."

The media has wandered so far from sensible reporting to sensationalism that it's hardly worth getting the information any more.

M&M are not reporters. They are commentators. Big difference.

Very sad news for Redskins fans everywhere. It feels like the end of Camelot where we always had hope of good things to come.

Thanks for the memories Coach Gibbs.

Yeah Hogtimus, it was M&M speculating. I HATE that move.

Freddy: this is interesting -- Mort said there is no such clause in GWill's contract.

Really? I remember the clause when he was re-signed a couple years back. Maybe it expired? That's the only thing I can think of, I'm positive it was at least reported that he had such a clause a couple years ago.

If the new coach isnt someone who was formerly with the redskins, I am vehemently opposed.

Everybody needs to chill the hell out. I would bet that Snyder will do the right thing and give GW the job. GW is ready. And if we keep Saunders the offense will be just fine.

WOW. This really puts the exclamation point on the 2007 season.
