RI: Something to chew on (Mariucci speculation) (Update: Interview Wednesday)

WJLA reports that Danny and his cousin Vinnie are in Arizona as we speak interviewing him. The PFT article says they are in DC interviewing him. So what's the real story?


ABC 7 Sports has learned that Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder and Vinny Cerrato, the Redskins' vice-president for football operations, are in Phoenix to interview Steve Mariucci as a possible replacement for Joe Gibbs.
I think they were talking about the actual job being in D.C., not the interview.

I don't doubt you, but Redskins Radio also claimed Fassel was going to be announced as head coach last week

Absolutely not! That would be almost as crazy as when Danny boy coaxed the OBC to come here.

Yea the not so reliable Redskin Radio in the Hampton Roads area you never know. But being I do believe its down the stretch to him or maybe one other candidate I would not be surprised one bit if Mooch is the next HC next week.

Mooch is a horrible liar, and for all you freudian scholars out there, maybe
basically means yes.
