# 21 draft pickbigm29 02-05-2008, 11:14 PM Hey anyone think its a coinicidence we have the #21 pick the year of Sean Taylors death? That number keeps coming up LandrySlice 02-06-2008, 07:38 AM What many people are forgetting is that our D was in the top 10 this year, and I trust Blache to do well for us in 08. The key to this years draft will be to trade our pick for more future first round picks or make it part of a blockbuster deal to land the "Big Target" reciever Jason Campbell needs which will help spread the field and should help Santana, Randel El, Cooley, and do I dare say the Legenary Lloyd? Hail Laron Landry! GO SKINS! coggs 02-06-2008, 08:32 AM None of those players were first round picks, off the top of my head. The only D-lineman I can remember them drafting in the first round was William Joseph and he was terrible. LandrySlice 02-06-2008, 08:38 AM How big of a factor is this draft pick going to be based on the hiring of the HC? Or is this going to be stricktly Vinny and Snyder's pick together? Also, does anyone know who repalaced ST on the leadership council? skinzaholic73 02-12-2008, 04:54 PM If by some big miracle our 1st pick doesn't go to cincy for CJ,then I definitely think we go DE.Hopefully Merling or L.Jackson will be there if not I think Cris Ellis. freddyg12 02-12-2008, 08:14 PM If by some big miracle our 1st pick doesn't go to cincy for CJ,then I definitely think we go DE.Hopefully Merling or L.Jackson will be there if not I think Cris Ellis. I love Ellis cause I'm a Hokie, but I don't know if he's cut out for the 4-3. He's built much more like a speed rushing olb in a 3-4. Great athlete, he could probably play in coverage some too. prinzeofmoval 02-13-2008, 12:41 AM James Hardy out of indiana...Big 6-6 wr set IU records thats the next big man reciever XXVI 02-13-2008, 03:04 AM sorry dupe XXVI 02-13-2008, 03:04 AM You know, I have to say this. Sean Taylor was my favorite all time Redskin, by far. Does anyone feel like... someone could possibly be better than him? I do. His name is LaRon... LaRon Landry. SEAN TAYLOR Ht., Wt.: 6'2½, 230 40 Time: 4.51 LARON LANDRY Ht., Wt.: 6'1'' 215 40 Time: 4.25 Not much smaller, and much faster. I think he's gonna be better. He had more interceptions than ST in a shorter time playing FS. I dunno, god forgive me, but give it this year. HE WILL be better. That said #21 should go to Kenny Phillips. KENNY PHILLIPS Ht., Wt.: 6'2'' 208 40 Time:4.46 Ladies and Gentlemen... he's from THE U!!! He's good, they've taught him kinda the way ST played. This is the way all good Safties are going to be molded around. ST and Gregg. PRO POTENTIAL: S Kenny Phillips - Like DE Calais Campbell, he probably got more attention as a sophomore in 2006 than he did his junior season last fall. He had only two interceptions in 2007 compared to four in 2006. But he still is considered one of the top secondary prospects in the draft and likely will go from middle to late first roundPRO (sports xchange) |
