Do you have any basis for your assumption that the Redskins' PR guys smeared Williams' name?

No I really don't besides media outlets referring to sources w/in the organization are saying GW badmouthed JG and are stating Spags said he wasn't ready yet.

I lien on the side of the reporters on this one, based on the prior history of DS. I wouldn't put it past him. But you know what why not come out and deny this strongly from the beginning.

If it only happened once I might chalk it up to a reporting error, but this seems to happen all the time since DS took over.

after watching the redskins.com tv with zorn i,m happy with the hiring and wish him all the best. he was straight forward and nervous but heck who wouldn,t be in that position.did he go off the handle a bit sure but he hit all angles very well.so welcome jim and i hope you have this team kicking in gear before too long.. again for me it,s a wait and see game but thus far i like what i saw in the presser from yesterday.

This may have been discussed earlier. Did you all hear Zorn mention the team colors? Yellow, black and Maroon? Come on.

He was probably referring to all the Skins gear that comes in black. I'm sure he's aware that black isn't in the uniforms, but considering he's probably got a ton on his mind right now I'm not going to crucify him for a minor slip up.

To be fair, our Indian head does have black hair. :D


Everyone else probably calls our gold yellow, they're outsiders. He'll learn. :)
