Zorn went into detail about some of Campbells' strengths and talked about Jason having to squat so low at the LOS and being more explosive off the LOS. It was a great response and IMO his other responses to football based questions do show a great attention to detail.

Wonder how Rabach and Buges feel about that? I'd also like to see the cost of this entire "process." I mean from the hugeeeeeeeeeee phone bill, to the cost of overtime for the staff, to the money spent on Redskin 1, plus the cost of lavish dinners and lunch, then the cost of going to the strip club. I have reason to believe that the bill might very well be over 2 million dollars.

I like this one:

• Zorn now is saying how much he admires the players for the character they showed in the aftermath of Taylor's death. On the tribute to Taylor by the defense in the first game after he died: "I thought to myself, 'Who could have thought something like that up, to play with 10 players on a play to honor a fallen teammate? It's pretty awesome when you think about it."

Answer: Gregg Williams, Jacksonville Jaguars DC

You know I missed the whole color debacle, but couln't miss the nervous nelly persona up there. I guess I would be too if I didn't make it a habit of speaking to a large groulp of media. While he was mentioning the whole 10 people on the field thing he stated "I never would have thought of that then said when the play ran it was nice to see only the 11 men out there. I thought uhhh, isn't there supposed to be 11 out there? He must have meant 10. lol.

He seems alright though. Everything I hear or read is positive and says he is very detailed. I like this better then Fassel/Mooch/Meeks and that Spags guy. I just hope the personnel picks up the offense fast and it rocks! You know the team doesn't have to know 700 plays to start off with just know a few very well and hope the Colts can't stop them in the HOF game. lol.

Also....maybe he knows something about the colors we don't know....or atleast don't know yet. lol. Maybe DS is changing the colors. lol. I wonder if he's getting ribbed by his friends right now. Poor Coach. Apparantly no one was fast enough to try and save the moment. Something along the line of " Hey Coach I know you played when the KILLER BEES played but this is the Skins. How about " Hey Coach...you do know DS brought you to DC not NO?" or "Hey Coach did you think DS flew you around in the air for 4-5hrs to simply drop you off in California at the 49ers complex?"

I guess that would be more in line with heckling. I guess if he has the team winning then all this does not matter. right. I hope he starts winning early.

Just watched the press conference. He was nervous and he tried to be too perfect. No worries. All he needs to learn is that if you bore the reporters with generic answers for a good fifteen minutes then they will get frustrated and the press conference doesn't drag out. Keep it simple.

Whats with all this nervous talk? No one in the history of coaches is more "giddy" and self-depreciating then Joe Gibbs. If anything Zorn reminded me a little of ole' Joe, especially with the QB sneak line.

Hell, think about it, if we took everything Gibbs said about himself at face value then we'd think he was the worst coach in the world.

Just watched the full presser.

I think I like where he's going. He clearly feels more comforable talking football than talking "press talk". Said a lot of the right things, but at times seemed to get caught up in minutiae.

I remain cautiously optimistic.

Zorn may indeed prove to be the next Andy Reid or he could be the next Marty Morningweg, i just don't know. He seemed a little nervous which is ok but left me wondering whether he's really the guy for this job.

What really bothers me about the press conference and maybe Snyder in general is him talking about character. I don't know DS personally, but he comes accross as being a hypocrit.

He talks about character but yet has his PR guys smear GW's name insinuating that he said negative remarks about JG's

He interviews Spags and then somehow its leaked that Spags admitted he wasn't ready to be a HC therefore attempting to make Spags withdrawal look better from the skins side

That doesn't even count some of the things from the past that he's done

I would have rather him stood up and denied that these items were leaked from the skins, if indeed they weren't.

So everytime i hear Character from DS, all i think of is BS. I do admire DS and his desire to win but i'm really having a hard time believing anything that comes out of his mouth.

Do you have any basis for your assumption that the Redskins' PR guys smeared Williams' name?
