J.J. Pesavento, of Next Level Scouting, reports University of Louisville LB Lamar Myles (hamstring) worked out at his school's Pro Day. Myles ran between a 4.64 and a 4.67 40-yard dash, had a 38-inch vertical jump, a 10-foot, four-inch broad jump and completed 33 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press. He measured in at 5-foot-11 1/2 and 230 pounds. Myles pulled his hamstring during the 40-yard dash.

Updating a previous report, The Associated Press reports the San Francisco 49ers forfeited their fifth-round draft pick in the 2008 NFL Draft after NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said they tampered with Chicago Bears LB Lance Briggs. The 49ers will have to trade their third-round draft pick, seventh overall in the third round, to the Bears for their third-round pick, the 12th overall pick in the third round.

Tom Shaw, of Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex, handled Rodgers-Cromartie's pre-draft preparation. Shaw has worked with 94 first-round draft picks and has compared Rodgers-Cromartie to former NFL star CB Deion Sanders. "I think Dominique is a Hall of Famer," Shaw said. "The way this kid can react to the football, the way he adjusts ... He's the best receiver I have in this camp. He's a kid that can do everything."

Bob Holt, of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, reports University of Arkansas WR Marcus Monk worked out at his school's Pro Day Tuesday, March 25. Monk ran a 4.41 and 4.43 40-yard dash and had a 36-inch vertical jump. He improved his numbers from the NFL Scouting Combine and helped himself more than any other player at Arkansas' Pro Day, according to NFL analyst Chris Mortensen.
