Quite frankly I don't see this as a big deal. I see this as a bad personnel decision by the Redskins. He didn't fit our system and our coaches thought he was lazy. A good scheme can help a player and I think that he is in a place where he can be productive in Chicago. I've moved on, this isn't an issue anymore. He's not a gamebreaker in Chicago, but he's a productive player who obviously has something to prove after his two seasons here. More power to him.

JoeRedskin, I find it interesting you still put all the blame on Lloyd. Before he comes to DC he's a productive player. When he leaves DC he's a productive player. Is the issue Lloyd or DC? I'm willing to bet DC. He may be a douchebag, I hear lots of players are douchebags. Unfortunately, it's part of the sport.

Fact is -- you need to get on the field to make plays. He rarely was on the field, and even rarer was he targeted for a pass. I'm not shocked that never seeing the field makes someone upset. Especially when they sign a large contract and expecting to get play time.

Regardless of the reason -- Lloyd didn't get a chance here and I think we missed out on a talented guy.

Lloyd's lack of production in D.C. was the result of several things. First, we didn't have an established and productive QB or passing attack in 2006 or 2007 (save for the last quarter of 2007). Second, Lloyd was not a better receiver than Moss or ARE. Third, he was a giant turd.

He's had one good game. Let's see how he fares over the course of the season. In any case, I'm so glad we got rid of him. As some of you might recall, I blasted the guy repeatedly when he was here in DC and couldn't stand the sight of him in a Redskins uni.

The Redskins put a huge premium on character, especialy under Gibbs. Just kind of sucks with all we did and gave for that idiot. The Bears signed him for nothing.

I still fault us more than I fault Lloyd. We knew he had character red-flags and we signed him anyway. And his character became an issue. No big shocker there.

So it's OUR fault he dropped passes? OK.

So you're saying Kyle Orton is better than Campbell and Collins?
:D

Orton isn't any good, but Lloyd is their #1 WR and they don't have anyone decent as their #2 or #3. Also, Lloyd's sole great game was the Chicago-Tampa game, when Orton threw nearly 40 times.

you know i fault gibbs...he didnt give the man the ability to succeed in his offense..most wide outs are divas and have issues..its part of their menatility that they can catch anything or beat anyone.
