He's off to a good start....open mouth insert foot! He's already misread his first rout, and football hasn't started. What a dumb$ss!

Get a laugh out of this read.

Can anyone preovide an link that spells out his new contract with the Bears. I know that he got a one year deal, but I have not seen that is was for the league minimum. Also, I have not seen detail that he will not be getting a roster bonus if he makes the team.

The signing was a no-brainer for the Bears, and it doesn't come at nearly the cost of failed safety Adam Archuleta, another former Redskin. Lloyd receives a $40,000 workout bonus with a base salary of $605,000 and will count only $485,000 against the salary cap.

Thanks Skinsfan_nn - I still can't believe he got a deal and he is lucky that a former college coach got him this chance. I also can't belive he made that statement about the qbs - why the heck is Llyod bad mouthing when he has not even made the team - isn't this a huge signal to the Bears that he is not a changed man and they are wasting $40,000 on a malcontent?

I don't know. I'd like to think the NBA does a slightly better job.

The Bears lost two receivers to free agency, now they must truly be "desperate" Good Luck!!

I think they plan to use Hester as their #1 receiver this year.

Heck, they may even draft a WR int he first two rounds.

Bears may be losing Rashied Davies as well
