If Jansen is healthy, we have a really great pair of tackles with solid depth. Maybe get some undrafted FA's there for camp bodies but really we are set at Tackle.
I'd like to see more LB depth picked up on Day 2.

Awfully tough poll question. I could make a case for every option being a pretty big need, but if I had to pick one I'd probably say OT is the least of my concerns.

Samuels is a rock, and hopefully Jansen can avoid the freak injuries. If that works out we're pretty set at OT, and I like Heyer for depth at RT. Not sure what we would do if we lost Samuels for any length of time... that could be scary.

I got an idea. If he is still available how about the OG from VT? I mean Kendall has about 1 more year in him and IF Thomas can stay healthy we should be solid up front for a year, but if we draft a young very talented OG in the 1st round to groom and be the replacement for years to come I believe that we would be better off.

Plus June 1st cuts, who knows maybe then we could find that young big receiver we covet, or even better a CB or DE.

Just a thought

Assume today they just hired me as General Manager. Here is my first...and multitude orders of business.
Watch the free agent wire...as we have been. For chump change, we can pick up some solid backup needs at the right price. At Wide Receiver I would resign Reche Caldwell and also pick up Aaron Moorehead...a big target who reminds me of Chris Cooley...only a little faster. I would sign Takeo Spikes at Linebacker- he still has gas in the tank and goes well with Fletcher. ALso, I would bring back Renaldo Wynn. All these defensive players can be gotten at or near the league veteran minumum. I would also bring in Ty Law or Mike Doss to sure up the secondary and at the same time, resign Prioleau at Safety. THEN...in the draft...1st round, I draft a wide receiver: I think Malcomb Kelly or Limas Sweed will be there and we need to grab either of those two. 2nd round we take a chance on Calais Campbell...his stock is quickly falling but still a solid second round pick. In the 3rd, I go shopping for the best Safety available, which I think will be Josh Barrett of Arizona St. No 4th round pick leaves me with taking a cornerback in the 5th round...maybe Tyvon Branch and then Robert Felton, Offensive Guard in the 6th round...and probably a defensive lineman like Jordan Grimes in the 7th round. BY THE WAY...watch the skins young runningback MASON to make the team again as well as Chris Wilson, DE...good young talent.

What exactly does this have to do with the poll question?

It's unlikely we'll be able to fill all our needs in the draft, and barring a trade (CJ?) or last minute free agent signing (Scott?) we're not likely to make many other moves in free agency/trades.

So with that in mind, where can we afford to go with the status quo for another year?

In other words, what do we LEAST need?
