Colt Brennan profile

Yeah, he's a toothpick. If he gets plowed by Umenyora, he's doneski. He's got a woman's frame.

Is Brennan actually likely to end up on IR? Because I've heard several people say that.

He's probably more likely to be practice squad.

I don't think he will push JC in the near term but what I don't want happening is a situation where we have a mediocre season and ppl start questioning JC's effectiveness (maybe even unwarrantedly). This could lead to writers & fans would start jumping off of JC's bandwagon & onto Brennans. It could be a grass is greener on the other side type of thought process but anything that leads to JC looking over his shoulder could be disastrous for this team with so much promise.

Well right now I'm not on JC's band wagon and feel he needs to step it up this year or we might need to look to another QB. I'm not saying that is Brennan but we saw how the O improved when we went with our back up. I'm just not sold on JC but would love for him to prove me wrong and I'm not ready so start bashing him yet.

He is a product of the college system he played in, but the Skins new Zorn-Coast offense will no doubt employ certain aspects of the run-n-shoot that propelled Brennan into the record books. For where the team got him in the draft - no harm whatsoever if he doesn't pan out.

If it were that serious, then any ole bum off the streets can do that in Hawaii's offense. For a #3 developmental prospect in a WCO, he fits the bill(and then some). Accuracy is important in the WCO, and he has it.

Im not mad at the pick. If we wouldn't have picked him up, some other WC team would have. I wish we could kept Carson Palmer's brother and then we could used the pick on someone else, but regardless, I still like the pick up.

I think Brennan is a decent pick, I'm surprised he didn't get drafted higher. I think he'll probably start out as a 3rd string and may get bumped up to 2nd String if TC decides to hang it up in a couple years.

No we don't. I'm pretty sure that anyone can sign anybody off of any teams practice squad at any time. Any questions?

Another product of the system put up the NCAA Career Passing Yard record, Timmy Chang. He's in the CFL. While the WAC is D1, it is definitely sub-par with the major conferences.

I don't like him and don't think he'll be successful, but as a 6th round project I don't hate the pick.
