the whole state of hawaii is now 100% behind the redskins. It's about time in my opinion. Redskins preseason games will now be on T.V. out here (Yea baby). The skins just got a whole state cheering for them now . Great draft, good pick. Hope he can contribute to the team. In colt I trust

The only other player from Hawaii (when is it correct to spell it Hawai'i?) ever on the Redskins that I can recall is Rafel Cherry...what a fall from grace he had

Is Brennan suppose to be like Keanu Reeves character on The Replacements?

That's good to hear! Maybe you'll be able to watch some more regular season games out there too?

I think Colt is going to develop a lot faster than JC, because the college WCO is easier than the NFL. I really think with Zorn coaching such a raw talent in Brennan, he's going to adapt faster than Jason. More than that reason, it's also that JC has to UN-LEARN Gibbs' system, and relearn the WCO. Brennan is starting with a clean slate. I absolutely LOVE JC, but who here thinks I may be onto something? As stated earlier, Colt is a good name for a QB, so I am on the fence here. I almost want him to make it good here.

A good friend of mine shares the same opinion, but I could not disagree more. Although JC struggled last year behind a decimated O-line and a lackluster WR corps he showed flashes of greatness. The potential in JC incredible; it seems that throughout the entire league they believe he is going to be a great QB. There is a reason Zorn was brought in, that we drafted 3 big targets in the 2nd round, and that this team is being built around JC. Also, JC has ALWAYS had to learn a new system, and it hasn't been much of a problem for his development.

With a healthy O-line with young depth, a revamped receiving corps, and with Jim Zorn as a tutor I think we will see a vast improvement in JC game this year. If nothing else Id bet he'll be at least the 2nd best qb in the nfc east, and that is saying something. Remember his competition is Romo, Manning, and McNabb. I think he'll have a better season then all three, personally, and probably will be top 10 in the NFL.

The fanbase (ie ES) has already nominated the guy to replace JC. I guess the idea of Mix being buried under Kelly,Thomas, ARE, and Moss was just to much to bear for all the people that thought he was going to be the next TO, so now they're on a Brennan kick.

I love the enthusiasm, and I hope you're right.

I am unsure of what you're talking about when you say "young depth" at o-line cause we only drafted 1 kid to fill that position. Having a healthy o-line is indeed the key. We said this last year, and sure enough, right out of the gates they started dropping like flies. Although I give a lot of credit to Bugel cause even with those injuries we had a pretty good o-line.

Did anyone else catch Brian Baldinger's take on Brennan last night on NFLN? This didn't make a ton of sense to me but whatever. He basically said with JC coming off an injury, he wouldn't be surprised if at some point this year JC goes down again and Brennan takes over and "never looks back".

I didn't see that but it's kind of funny I said that to friend of mine when we were talking about the draft, I felt Colt would be a great fit for the WCO and I could in vision him starting this season, not because of an injury to Campbell, just the fact I think he will outshine in practice to the point he can't be ignored. When I was saying it I told him I believed Colt could be a Montana clone, I know that's a big statement but I think the scenario has been set, can Colt make it actually happen will be the question?

A kid who is an extremely high percentage passer, going to an offense that is a high percentage offense, along with game breaking skill players all over the place on offense, a skins fan can dream sometimes can't he!:headbange

I snorted coke with Baldinger the night before he said that and I.....kind of suggested that to him. Seemed like a good idea at the time.
