GMScud 04-29-2008, 02:09 PM I'm getting $600, and I plan on buying some summer clothes. I need some shorts and golf shirts. I'll probably spend half of it and throw the other half into savings. I heard this morning on CNN that the first people to receive the rebates are those who used direct deposit when filing their tax return. I used direct deposit, but it was through TurboTax. Does anyone know if that counts, or does it have to be direct deposit used straight through ww.irs.gov??
