This will cover most of my rent for May.
I don't plan on buying anything that I wouldn't normally.

It was a close call between saving it or buying armor piercing rounds for the terrorists.

New dinette set and a new mattress set. Kid's getting her share thrown into an ING Savings account, and the leftover will help put gasoline in the goddamn cars!

I'm not getting one and I'm bitter. If I were getting one it would have payed for a new GPS system to replace my stolen GPS.

Economic Stimulus Payment Calculator (http://www.irs.gov/app/espc/start.do)
You do not qualify for an economic stimulus payment

According to law, the economic stimulus payment amount that you would otherwise be entitled to receive is reduced by 5% of the amount that your Tax Year 2007 Adjusted Gross Income exceeds $75,000. You would have been eligible for an economic stimulus payment of $600, but your AGI exceeds $75,000 by enough to reduce that amount to zero.

However, if your situation changes during 2008, you may be able to claim an economic stimulus credit on your Tax Year 2008 return.

I'm getting $600, and I plan on buying some summer clothes. I need some shorts and golf shirts. I'll probably spend half of it and throw the other half into savings. I heard this morning on CNN that the first people to receive the rebates are those who used direct deposit when filing their tax return. I used direct deposit, but it was through TurboTax. Does anyone know if that counts, or does it have to be direct deposit used straight through ww.irs.gov??
