Boy decapitated by roller coaster at Six Flags Over Georgiajamf 06-30-2008, 01:47 AM Who knows why he climbed the fence... he must have just lost his mind! Horrible... ArtMonkDrillz 06-30-2008, 10:54 AM Tragic story but I don't see this as anything that will impact 6 flags negatively.Seriously? Of course it will negatively impact the park, even though it was 100% the kid's fault. There are plenty of people who will avoid going to the park because of this kind of crap. Plus, this isn't the first incident at a Six Flags park in recent history: Over the years, several ride-related deaths have been reported at Six Flags parks nationwide. Last March, a worker dismantling a ride at Six Flags Great America near Chicago fell 40-feet to his death. In 2004 at the same park, a maintenance worker was hit by a roller coaster and killed. A 55-year-old disabled man was killed in May 2004 when he was thrown from a ride at Six Flags New England near Springfield, Mass. Five years ago, a grandmother strapping her 4-year-old grandson into Six Flags New Orleans' Joker's Jukebox ride was hit by a spinning car when the ride began operating before she was out of the way. Hog1 06-30-2008, 12:18 PM What a horrible thing for the family and friends. What a stupid F... idiot. There is only so much stupidity one can reasonably be protected from mredskins 06-30-2008, 12:20 PM Seriously how can you not see the tracks or a coaster coming around it???? Schneed10 06-30-2008, 12:36 PM If he climbed a fence despite signs that said danger, do not enter, he clearly wasn't using his head! DynamiteRave 06-30-2008, 12:50 PM If he climbed a fence despite signs that said danger, do not enter, he clearly wasn't using his head! So much shtick, so little time. :) MTK 06-30-2008, 01:00 PM If he climbed a fence despite signs that said danger, do not enter, he clearly wasn't using his head! Oh he used it, he tried to stop a roller coaster at 50 MPH with it! Train 1 Head 0 Game over. SmootSmack 06-30-2008, 01:28 PM I can't even begin to imagine being the friend that was with him at that moment Riggo44 06-30-2008, 04:12 PM Seriously how can you not see the tracks or a coaster coming around it???? That's what I was thinking. If he was some retarded deaf kid then I would feel sorry for him. But I seems like this kid was simply just a complete moron. ArtMonkDrillz 06-30-2008, 04:17 PM Seriously how can you not see the tracks or a coaster coming around it????I thought I heard on the news this morning that the friend dove out of the way, so I guess it's possible that he saw/heard it coming but for whatever reason he didn't get out of the way in time. It reminds me of a line from the end of the movie Snatch: Turkish: Have you ever crossed the road, and looked the wrong way? A car's nearly on you? So what do you do? Something very silly. You freeze. Your life doesn't flash before you, 'cause you're too fuckin' scared to think - you just freeze and pull a stupid face. | |
