djnemo -- Drafting WRs doesn't exactly scream win now to me. Typically, it takes 2-3 years to see what you have in a WR. As I said, Im not sure where I really stand on the issue, just trying to say I don't consider it a huge stretch for us to be in the consideration for Favre.

It has nothing to do with winning now, my point was that they are building around Campbell, giving him the weapons to succeed as a quarterback. I really don't think the fact that they are sold on Campbell is open to debate, at least not going into this season.

This is outta control, the whole Farve issue. I am sick of it, it has almost gotten as outta control as the TO situation with Dallas did with the media coverage.
Makes me want to vomit.

Matty, no! I love you, but...
Retarded thread.
I think you were probably just trying to get some discussion going on the site, even if it meant starting one that you know will get a resounding no. So I can see starting it up.
People are putting way too much thought into this. The idea that the Skins should go after Brett Favre is laughable.

What a douche, I've lost all respect for the guy.
I highly doubt that it would happen, but Rich Tandler at least makes a convincing argument here:

Zorn has already made it perfectly clear that JC is going to be the starting QB for the Redskins this year, and for the foreseeable future.
If I'm Jason Campbell, I certainly would not feel comfortable with this type talk surfaceing one week before the start of training camp. Sometime people just get lost for something to talk about. The thought of a very short term Favre would undercut everything the team has been trying to acomplish, and would serve no worthwhile purpose. "Just say no".

Didn't Farve want tall receivers?
