Is J. Taylor really needed?

I think it's debatable if JT will be a HOF er or not. So far in the games he's played in I haven't seen a HOF player and that's all that really matters. Hopefully when he comes back he'll be 100% healthy.

I think it is safe to say JT is a HOF and will go in as a Doliphn, waht he does here if anything will be icing on his career cake.

We had this same type of thread about Carter when he first came to Washington. He started out slow then when he got comfortable in the system started racking up sacks. I'm hoping Taylor does the same thing and he did bat down three passes in his last game which might have made the difference in the out come.Carter wasn't coming in at 33 or 34 years of age either. How much time do you think he has to grasp the defense, especially not being healthy?

Speaking of Carter, did anyone else see him absolutely drill Romo last week? No further description of the play is necessary, either you saw it and remember it or you missed it.
Did you see Romo bounce right up after the hit? That was a good, clean hit and I'm glad to see that he was tough enough to brush off a hit like that. You don't normally see hits like that on him, so it was good to see him bounce right up from it.

I think a HOF DE would make a team better. I would say if we keep winning let's make sure he's fairly healthy before we bring him back.

Even a less than 100% HOF DE would make this team better. In the Dal game, Wilson and Evans pretty much got manhandled. I think JT would have gotten a sack or two in the 2nd half.Do you know what his sack total was vs the NFCE last year?

1 and that was against the Skins.

Perhaps the Skins are a better team and thus take away the luxury for the Opposing Offense to key solely on him?

cowboys suck, cowboys fans who live in the metro area and have never been close to the state of texas had bad parents.

Jason Taylor is not a HOF'er.
I was against trading for JT as well. Carter and JT are basically the same player a RDE and IMO JT has little left in the tank.
Neither is cut out or will hold up at the strong side LDE postion for an entire season, which requires usually going up against the other teams stout-est against the run OT.
I hope I am wrong.
Evans is closer to a LDE then either JT or Carter. IMO we are a better over all defense with Evans and Wilson rotating than with JT playing LDE fulltime. We were not that much better at rushing the passer when JT and Carter played together. Teams ran at our ends, just like they pick on Doughty on pass plays, they are our weakest links.

Forget Taylor, we need Springs healthy most of all for Sunday. We have two starters on D out and they get possibly two starters back on O. My question is, can Shawn's replacement take Hall?

i know, inappropriate right?? Well this certainly doesn't apply to me because I've been to 14 games in Texas Stadium since 1985, and I've been to 6 Cowboys/Redskins games here, 5 in FedEx Field, and 1 in RFK. Actually, I've been to more Cowboys games in Texas than some of the Skins fans I know have been to Skins games. What does this mean? Nothing.

Oh yeah, do the Skin fans that grew up in the Dallas area that never been close to the city of Washington DC have bad parents?

I would have gone to Irving last week, but my sister was in a horrible 3 car accident Saturday morning. It looked grim at first, but she is recovering nicely.

Sorry about your sister. I hope everything turns out well. I just feel like people should represent the area that they live in unless they are a transplant from another area. Makes sense to me. Personally I don't care who roots for the cowgirls, they will always be a bunch of overrated ass -wipes to me.
