Basically, whether he is or is not on the team, the Redskins are already on the hook to pay him like a top RB through 2010. So might as well keep him happy. Portis has more heart and passion for our team than i see from anyone one else on the field...im ashamed that more of our players dont play with his emotion. Players that are truly great are the ones that lay it all on the line...go out there and play like there is no tomorrow. I would rather have ten guys on my team that have that energy, that emotion, that FIRE...than 52 over paid old vets like we do now.
