Should We Give Brennan Playing Time Now?maroonandblack30 12-18-2008, 01:05 PM If Colt starts the games listed as the #3 QB by rule he cant come in or start unless both guys above him get hurt. exactly redskins5044 12-18-2008, 01:05 PM Prior to last weeks loss, we were technically still in contention. That has changed. The loss changed the rules. It would be nice to see what Colt can do. It has already been mentioned, but Collins is a known quantity. we are technincally still in the playoff contention. lol. found a article in the washington times, were a writer put what the skins need to make the playoffs. all we need is the falcon, bucs, eagles too lose there last 2 games. then the bears have to lose one of there last 2 games. have the cowboys win there last 2 games. i thinks thats it. oh by the way the falcons play the rams and the bucs have a game v.s. the raiders, so i say our chances look good. not. we just need to lose these last 2 games so we can get a better draft position. redskins5044 12-18-2008, 01:07 PM If Colt starts the games listed as the #3 QB by rule he cant come in or start unless both guys above him get hurt. thats if he is listed as the #3 qb prior to that game. if we wanted to we could list him #1 or #2 QB. I had no idea. THAT does change things. We better play JC to lock this thing up chillinhoover 12-18-2008, 01:17 PM I'm tired of hearing about Colt. He could be a nice player, but I hope he never see's the feild with us. We need to Stick by J-Cam. Read Sally Jenkins article today on Jason, it will change your mind on giving up on him so soon. Paintrain 12-18-2008, 01:20 PM Vick will be out soon...should we get him? Different thread for a different time, but I would argue YES! As offenses in the league evolve a bit and incorporate more 'wildcat' type plays can you think of a better 'weapon' to have as a change up? As a QB, definitely not, but as an offensive 'weapon' I think we'd be foolish not to consider him. Back on topic, no to Brennan. He's a backup now, was drafted to be a backup and will always be a backup. There's no reason to "see what we have" when we are still trying to get everyone on the same page with our starting offense as it is! budw38 12-18-2008, 01:20 PM Why not start Collins for 1 game ? If the offense looks the same < 10 pts/game > , then so be it ,,, if however we score 27 points we will have a better idea of why we cannot score , line or qb play . Paintrain 12-18-2008, 01:23 PM exactly Actually wrong. He can come in at any point, regardless of circumstance. The rule is if he enters before the 4th quarter, the other 2 quarterbacks cannot enter the game at any point. Hog1 12-18-2008, 01:29 PM I'm tired of hearing about Colt. I do not advocate giving up on anybody, especially JC, as I am BIG fan of his. However, to have potential resources and not research their value completely is a poor plan. I do think Drew Bledsoe would agree with you, especially on the Tom Brady potentially starting issue Joe Kidd 12-18-2008, 01:31 PM Is this for real? |
