Different thread for a different time, but I would argue YES! As offenses in the league evolve a bit and incorporate more 'wildcat' type plays can you think of a better 'weapon' to have as a change up? As a QB, definitely not, but as an offensive 'weapon' I think we'd be foolish not to consider him.

Back on topic, no to Brennan. He's a backup now, was drafted to be a backup and will always be a backup. There's no reason to "see what we have" when we are still trying to get everyone on the same page with our starting offense as it is!

I would argue yes as well, but another time.

Brennan: We are trying to find out what we have in JC. He needs all the snaps he can get. It's not like he's a 5-6 year starter.

Now next year, if we're in the same boat. Put someone else in. Go for it.

Actually wrong. He can come in at any point, regardless of circumstance. The rule is if he enters before the 4th quarter, the other 2 quarterbacks cannot enter the game at any point.

OK, I think you are right. my bad.

I had no idea. THAT does change things. We better play JC to lock this thing up

:laughing2 It's the 15th week of the season and we're still in the playoff hunt? Hell man, what's everybody complaining about?

Campbell is our QB this and beyond! Why would you take a game away from HIS development in this new offense? He's the starter and the more experience he gets the better off the team will be next season. I've seen thread after thread about replacing almost EVERYBODY on the team. This is their first year with Zorn as the Coach. Like it or not, there are going to be growing pains. I'm sick of watching the Skins get pushed around every year like the rest of you but constant change is what got the Redskins here. Give Zorn a chance (1 season is NOT enough time)! I really believe this team can and will evolve into something special under Zorn. Anyone who thought the Skins were going to win the Superbowl before the season started or even after the 6-2 start was just kidding themselves. We aren't there yet. Danny Boy needs to be patient and stay the course for once.

Pheeeeewww, now I'm out of breath.

wont happen...i think Campbell needs a vertical reciever opposite of Moss...and some O-Line help before i give up on him...he really hasnt made THAT MANY BAD DESCISIONS (only 6 INTS for a 7-7 team)...couple overthrows but...
IF ANYTHINGS GONNA CHANGE Lets go for Cassell next year.

Changing the thread title. Seriously people, let's improve these thread titles. They should be a bit more descriptive. I saw "Colt Brennan" (the 3rd or 4th thread here with that exact title) and I thought maybe there was some breaking news, like he had been promoted to #2 QB for the remainder of the season.

Although Campbell hasn't made many mistakes (6 Ints), he also hasn't made any big plays. Yes, the O line sucks, but what would it hurt to give Colt a chance to get in there and get his feet wet? I mean, he may surprise us and be able to get rid of the ball quicker and not completely stare down his receivers! If he looks like crap we can move forward and not have to revisit this issue in the future. In my opinion, I think we should throw him in there and see what he can do, just a thought. I've been a huge JC backer and defender, but I say we give Colt a chance to see what he can do.
