As thrilling as Favre can be at times, other times he can be extremely careless with the football. Favre made for great hype and marketing in NY, but looking at matters objectively, he had a big hand in their collapse. The media protected him through his time in Green Bay and it seems, finally, his rancid play is catching up with him. Yeah he probably should have been benched, but that's typical Favre. You live and die with his gunslinger mentality.
