Now, if they bring in Mike Shanahan as GM/head coach and are willing to spend a big portion of the $40M+ worth of cap room they have, it could be quite interesting.

Oakland fans would be thrilled about that. Bill Callahan took Gruden's Raider team to the Super Bowl that, ironically, Gruden won with a Tampa Bay team that had Tony Dungy written all over it.
