i'm glad others agree that the NY WRs are better and that they'll be a better test of our D ;) CRT was ripping me a new asshole for saying the same thing in another thread for some reason :(

im way more worried about Tiki as a receiver in the flat than as a runner. our Dline SHOULD be able to stop their anemic running game. they are gonna try to throw short passes over the blitzers. our DBs need to play tight and to the inside against the 'dink' game, Warner shouldn't have time for the long strike. ST would cause absolute havok for these kind of plays...

w/o a doubt, Hilliard and Toomer have been the worst divisional headaches against us for years...since Smith and Irvin

yeah i doubt we'll hold tiki to 30 yds. rushing. but i think either way the giants are not ready for a blitzing D, esp. at this juncture of the season (what with warner and manning chuckin the rock). it should be pretty basic. open up our passing game through portis and the running game. and like u guys are saying, look for a big day from the entire offense this time. skins should win this with ease. call it...

since their secondary is bad too, i hope gibbs uses it to get brunell some more confidence in the passing game, cause i know dallas games aren't the place to try things...

I think we need to Run with Portis to set up the pass. The Giants have pretty good defensive line/ Linebackers, but a horried secondary. So well just pound it with Portis all day and then every now and then throw a ball to Coles, or Thrash or Gardner. I think we need to put up at most 17 points to win this game.

Defensivley, this should be a total mismatch. Their offensive line is horrible, they will have a pretty bad quarterback at htis point playing. We should be able to put pressure and force them to make bad decisons.

I cant decide if I want to start Toomer in my fantasy league this week. I hate playing against the skins, but Toomer usually dominates us.. The past doesnt mean anything but its somethign to consider...

I have the same problem SkinsnCanes. I ussually just dont like to start guys who are playing the skins'. Steve Smith is out for me so I'll probobly end up starting him. I dont think he will have ahuge day, personally. GOD I hope our defense comes ready to play like they did last week, casue they should eat the Giants for lunch.

I see Betts and Cooley being bigger factors this week. The Giants game plan will most likely be to control the clock with Barber and Dayne. One way to keep them from controlling the clock is to control it ourselves. So we'll lull them with a lot of carries to Portis and Betts and short to medium passes to Cooley...then BAM! we hit them the 55-yard flea-flicker TD to Coles to put the game away.

Then in the post-game press conference, in an obvious dig at Coughlin, Gibbs will say "Well on that play, the safety bit and Coles had man on man coverage down the field, I guess the safety made his decision to attack the run a little too early."

I'm really not expecting us to show much, not until Dallas!
