Sadly he became the Redskins' version of Ken Griffey Jr., lots of talent but always hurt.

If he was smart he would have restructured atleast once and helped the team. I often wondered if he felt he would be better off in Dallas so he would be close to home and close to his dad. I also wondered if his stubborness to not restructure was his way of hoping the Skins would outright release him so he could talk with Dallas.

Maybe it's just all in my head. lol.

I really like Shawn Springs. I think he's a great player and he seems like he's a better person. However, it was time for him to go. He, Marcus Washington and Griffin can't stay on the field. You can't really be a starter if you can't be counted on to stay healthy.

I am very curious to see how much money he makes with the next deal. It will probably justify him sitting out all those games to ensure the next payday.

Part of me hopes he does go to Dallas. I would love to see Santana put the double move on him.

as much as I hate the cowboys, i guess i wouldn't mind seeing him go to dallas for two reasons- YES to santana putting the dbl move on him, and the close proximity to the man's ailing father. it'd be fitting to see it work out that way for him

Ron Springs is still alive, but he's a coma he'll probably never come out of.

the cowboys needed a corner before they traded henry away, and springs grew up a boys fan (And i think his dad's in texas)... so i think we know where he's going...
