He was definitely our best CB when healthy even with Hall on the roster. Best of luck to him. Ruhskins 02-27-2009, 11:35 PM Went out with class. He was definitely our best CB when healthy even with Hall on the roster. Best of luck to him. Sadly he became the Redskins' version of Ken Griffey Jr., lots of talent but always hurt. SBXVII 02-28-2009, 09:15 AM If he was smart he would have restructured atleast once and helped the team. I often wondered if he felt he would be better off in Dallas so he would be close to home and close to his dad. I also wondered if his stubborness to not restructure was his way of hoping the Skins would outright release him so he could talk with Dallas. Maybe it's just all in my head. lol. jdlea 02-28-2009, 09:25 AM I really like Shawn Springs. I think he's a great player and he seems like he's a better person. However, it was time for him to go. He, Marcus Washington and Griffin can't stay on the field. You can't really be a starter if you can't be counted on to stay healthy. Pocket$ $traight 02-28-2009, 01:57 PM I am very curious to see how much money he makes with the next deal. It will probably justify him sitting out all those games to ensure the next payday. Part of me hopes he does go to Dallas. I would love to see Santana put the double move on him. franklinhimself 02-28-2009, 04:12 PM as much as I hate the cowboys, i guess i wouldn't mind seeing him go to dallas for two reasons- YES to santana putting the dbl move on him, and the close proximity to the man's ailing father. it'd be fitting to see it work out that way for him dmek25 02-28-2009, 07:21 PM as much as I hate the cowboys, i guess i wouldn't mind seeing him go to dallas for two reasons- YES to santana putting the dbl move on him, and the close proximity to the man's ailing father. it'd be fitting to see it work out that way for him if im not mistaken , he passed. and welcome to the board GMScud 02-28-2009, 07:24 PM if im not mistaken , he passed. and welcome to the board Ron Springs is still alive, but he's a coma he'll probably never come out of. That Guy 02-28-2009, 08:00 PM the cowboys needed a corner before they traded henry away, and springs grew up a boys fan (And i think his dad's in texas)... so i think we know where he's going... |
