I honestly do. JC_R and JC_D have the basic same winning percentage.
I think this says it very well. I would add that JC_R has progressed every year, and this year should/could be a big step for him. yes I would rather keep the qb we have lived and died with, then bring another upstart in and watch as he gets the same results with a lot more whining, and not much winning.
Can Culter complete a pass in under 3 seconds?
If he can we should trade our 13th overall to Denver for Cutler and not address our OL needs.

A quick Campbell/Cutler comparison-
JC (Jason Campbell)-36 starts, 16-20 W-L record, 35 TD, 23 INT, 80.4 QB rating
JC (Jay Cutler)-37 starts, 17-20 W-L record, 54 TD, 37 INT, 87.1 QB rating
Cutler has been in a much more passer friendly, aggressive offense for his starts that Campbell was. He also had elite level WR talent in Brandon Marshall and had Rod Smith for his first 21 starts. Add in an established offense and experienced coach/playcaller in Shanahan it's not hard to figure out why he shines a little brighter in the TD category.
Where it really matters however is in the W-L column. Cutler has never won anywhere, not in college, not in the pros. Is he really that much of an upgrade from Campbell?
What does W/L record have to do with it? Cutler played at freakin Vanderbuilt w/ scrubs against the toughest competition in the country and was the SEC player of the year. Sorry but you don't do that at Vanderbuilt unless you're a PURE STUD. I do agee that he's had better coaching and stayed in one offense. But Cutler seems to be getting better where JC has just stayed the same. Cutler had NO running game at all this past year. None. Yes Cutler has better wr's but McNabb plays w/ shitty wr's and carries his offense....FOR YEARS. Does JC have that kind of ability? To carry an offense and throw for 4,500 yards? We've seen small glimpses of it but this year he needs to take it to the next level.
Cutler also had the luxury of playing in the same offense his first 3 years.

Jay Cutler to DC: Three Way Trade Has Five Players Moving and Two Draft Picks | Bleacher Report (http://bleacherreport.com/articles/140554-jayc-to-dc-3-way-trade-has-5-players-moving-and-2-drafts)
This is unconfirmed.
However, an inside source says a trade will bring Jay Cutler to Washington is almost complete.
The leak came roughly about one hour ago. Negotiations between Cutler’s agent, Pat Bowlen, Daniel Snyder, and the Cleveland Browns management have been ongoing for a few days and all sides seem to be happy.
The deal would see Jay Cutler, Tony Scheffler, and Cleveland’s third round pick going to Washington.
Jason Campbell and Chris Cooley going to Cleveland and one of Denver’s fifth round picks.
Brady Quinn going from Cleveland to Denver, and LaRon Landry from Washington will be going to Denver. We thought that the Bailey-Portis trade was big.
Our source says that teams will announce the deal at 5 p.m. this evening.
Did April Fools day come early this year?

A commentor beat me to it, but we're getting a pick from Cleveland that they don't even have in there.
