such crap, you KNOW if danny did that and got caught, he'd lose all his draft picks for about 17 years... not that it'd really matter ;)

arent you glad we had our pick this year though?

I agree, this seems like a rather light punishment. The Minnesota Timberwolves had similar salary cap violations and ended up having to forfeit like 5 consecutive first-round picks-in a two-round draft!

Didn't the Redskins used to hide players on the injured reserve list........... :D

But yes the sentence was too light and would have been much tougher if it had been the Redskins...Jerry Jones would have seen to it.

You may get to find out if the league will stick it to Danny Boy under salary cap violations rules. If he loses the Arrington appeal, I was told that the Redskins will have been in violation of the salary cap for several weeks last year. I don't KNOW that to be true, but that is what I was told by someone who follows that kind of stuff very carefully. So...

One mitigating factor in the Broncos' case is that all this happened six of seven years ago so it isn't as if it was something so blatant that everybody could see what they were doing to break the rules.

might have been seven years ago, but it could have still been millions over...
