Hmm i have yet to make a thread, but don't worry it will somehow involve Sanchez, Booing Campbell, Calling ARE a playmaker. Gimme a sec still laughing bout calling ARE a playmaker. Will be a poll too, with vague answers, still working on it.

And I will be glad to blow it up toohttp://www.thewarpath.net/images/icons/icon12.gif

On a side note I hate people that call themselves playmakers. Those are the type that could literally have someone sitting on them and they'd still be waving their arms for the ball. Then they'd go to the sidelines and tell the QB how open they were.

The only way the Campbell bashing will end, is if Thomas and Kelly get with the program and help Campbell out.

I don't get what this thread is about?

Those were my exact words a few hours ago.

The purpose is blurred somewhere between Campbell's value, what will get us over the hump, and thread-worthiness. I dunno.

football is a team sport....therefore you must have all the elements to succeed. Taking Mark Sanchez is not going to put the Redskins into automatic SB contention. The OL line situation needs to be taken care of before the Redskins offense can expect to move the ball with all the "playmakers"

Moss? Check.
Cooley? Check.
Randle El (now known as Santonio Holmes)? Check.
Jason Campbell? Hmmm.

And before you say the WR corps was the culprit, Moss, Randle El, and Cooley are better than Cutler's Brandon Marshall, Eddie Royal, and Daniel Graham/Tony Sheffler.
Moss - basically a deep threat or speed threat only. No Red Zone threat
Cooley - Pro Bowl level TE, but not a "game-breaker"
ARE - No way
Portis - Very solid RB, seems to have lost "breakaway" speed.
Campbell - Played at a Pro Bowl level behind a solid OL.

I'll take Denver's WRs over ours any day of the week and twice on Sunday. TE, Cooley is better.

Read the line above my avatar, it says it all!

P.S. What if you're wrong about Sanchez? I wouldn't take that risk on a QB who had only one productive year at USC. Pretty hard to truly evaluate a QB who plays on a college team that out-classes it's competition by leaps and bounds across the board talent wise every week.

I don't mind taking shots for having an opinion. I was hoping someone had a clue what was needed to get this team over the hump. Jeez, what a way to treat newcomers...

It's great to have an opinion but we've been discussing this topic on many threads. You'll learn when to make a thread and when to respond. We treat every newcomer the same, but relax bro the warpath is not here to run you out. Damn, where the Hell is Dr. Phil when we need him. (joking):)
