I'm a hodge-podge. LOL, go figure!

The Antagoniser

Comment forums are made for divergent viewpoints and intelligent, spirited debate. The Antagoniser, though, takes things to another, more primitive level, resorting to personal attacks and insults in what may be a nostalgic flashback to carefree bygone days as a school playground bully.

I've been known to drop a credential here and there, especially when discussing the cap!
Mr Credentials

'As someone who has managed Windows-based systems for 15 years', Mr Credentials weighs in with a predictable approach. First he encourages everyone to focus on his superior CV, rather than on the objective reasonableness of his views.

And I do enjoy poking holes!
Smarty Pants

If the Peacekeeper is on a search-and-destroy mission against offensive content, the Smarty Pants' goal is to find and expose inaccuracies - no matter how insignificant -solely as a means to demonstrate his intellectual superiority.

Gotta be able to laugh at yourself sometimes.

It's ok if we toss ourselves under the bus.

Moderator: "Treating the forum as his own private gated community, the (self-appointed) Moderator ensures each discussion is safe and pure. He will treat any commenter who has fewer than 200 messages to his name as an undocumented invader who doesn't deserve a spot on his beloved forum. All of this, we assume, from the comfort of his parents' spare room."

That's the EGO baby!

But I think I'm also part smarty pants.

LOL. I thought I might fall under that (except I wasn't self-appointed), or under Peacekeeper

Self-Promoter: That Guy (shameless self-promotion in his sig!)
The Sermonator: SBF (though firstdown uncanny ability to make everything political fits in here)
Mr. Credentials: All I know is saden has requested his username be changed to Wikipedia 4 Life
The Antagoniser: Schneed all the way, lol
Smarty Pants: shoot maybe I'm smarty pants too
Fanboy: Been accused of this too
Conspiracy Theorist: How many people here remember Shane?
The Signature Dork: Every other member at ES
Johnny One Word: Earthquake when he first joined

It's amazing, but I don't fit into any of those categories! ;)

Okay, maybe equal parts Sermonator, Smarty Pants, and Mr. Creditentials.

and BTW - I am soooo glad we don't have any "First" dorks. What a stupid, stupid concept.

My only question is how they got Smoot to agree to have his picture under the Moderator.

Well Ithink the "first" dorks are mainly on sites like ESPN, CNN, SI, etc...

They wait for an article to come out then are the first to comment on it. Do they add it to their resume after they do it? Whoopee

Bozzy could be a damn good conspiracy theorist as well.

Also, do they have a forum hero category? Because PWNED fits that one. He's like the antagonizer, but he only antagonizes jerks!

I think I have to be a bunch of those things rolled up into 1. I'm definitely a "smarty pants", "antagoniser", "conspiracy theorist", & the "sermonator" but never all at the same time. That would be rather confusing, especially for an idiot like me. :D

haha yeah thats pretty funny, the pics were cool to. i always liked those back page of the NY Post kinda cartoon drawings. sadly (or unsadly i suppose) i dont fit under any one category either. if they had "the guy who always qualifies what ever he says with IMO" so he can never truly be wrong b/c its just like his opinion man or "the guy who treats forums like his part-time job while hes working his full time job" . . .

go skins!!

ps - i guess i could be "that guy who always signs off on his posts with some generic saying like 'go skins'"
