If JC has a big year, which he probably will, we'll resign him to a big contract just like Zorn will want so he can keep him, and all will be forgotten.

That's the best case scenario man and the thing to hope for. I mean, from Zorn's perspective why start over w/ a brand new guy he has to tear down and rebuild if the current starter gets it done? Ruhskins 05-21-2009, 12:50 AM I want the season to start. Paintrain 05-21-2009, 06:24 AM I want the season to start. This has felt like the longest offseason ever. It's pretty bad but over at ES is so much worse. I'm trying to avoid any MB discussions, especially Campbell related, until training came but I keep getting drawn in. It's like I feel sorry for some of these people and want to help but they are miserable beyond repair. Missin21 05-22-2009, 01:28 PM This has felt like the longest offseason ever. Too much negativity & it seems everytime I do something just a hair out of line (like calling Romo a homo), they want to ban me. The last time I got banned for not circumventing their profanity filters in the chat room & the filters didn't work so everything I said came straight out, with no ***. So I got banned from the chat for following the rules. AND I was the ONLY one who got banned even though everyone else was doing it too. Hey, it's whatever. So far, I'm liking it alot over here. A lot less people & a lot less dilution of intelligence & a HELLUVA lot less negativity. It IS the offseason though so we will have to see what happens come the season, but so far, it has been a very pleasant transition. :headbange Bishop Hammer 06-06-2009, 04:54 PM Does Redskinsgrove work for the Washington Post? Redskins Insider - The Big Issues: Will Campbell Return? (http://voices.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider/the-big-issues-will-campbell-r.html?wprss=redskinsinsider) Will Batman escape the Riddlers Maze of Mayham? Will the fat girl in my office stop wearing low rise jeans? Stay tuned to find... Whoaa! That statement is so good I might have to borrow it. That is up there with the infamous "That's what she said" joke. bparsley 06-06-2009, 05:50 PM JC should go somewhere where he is appreciated, not disrespected. Zerohero 06-06-2009, 06:01 PM I don't believe Campbell will be here next year either. I am saddened by this because I think this FO screwed the pooch...again. Acting like they were in sudden desperation mode for a QB with Cutler & then with Sanchez......it was ridiculous & pathetic. And Jason would be well within his rights to light it up this season & then say goodbye. Not just to the FO, which treated him like crap, but also to the haters in the fanbase which treated him far worse IMO. So whenever a team sees a chance to upgrade a position its considered "sudden desperation". While there was debate on Cutler being better then Campbell, that wasn't the point there. How else would they handle that, trade talks came up and they gave it a try. People keep dissing DS about he will pay too much to get what he wants but we dont have Cutler so evidently there was a line drawn. Or maybe nobody wanted Campbell... Again just because we are mentioned to have interest in Sanchez, it's like every year when the Skins and other teams workout players they know they will likely not get. And also the line was drawn because last i checked we didnt trade up. So right there we have two situations where likely the Skins would have loved to get those players but chose not to give up too much to get them. Orrrrrrr, nobody wanted Campbell. Maybe a little of both. And there's two types of Campbell haters. Those who don't like him and want him to fail, and those who dont like him but as a Skin want him to kick butt and get over the hump. DBUCHANON101 06-06-2009, 06:23 PM Having failed to land Cutler, you guys actually think DS isnt warming up the jet for Rivers after the season? Either that or he gives a draft for a Bradford,McCoy,Tebow type. IMO if JC does great he will tell DS to kiss his arse so i guess im not wrong to think about the future. You wouldn't look to upgrade a position? What do we owe Campbell? DS didn't give up a draft this year, why accuse him of giving up a draft next year. Lately the FO has done a decent job, even our big mistake of getting Taylor last year was more a reaction to losing to linemen right off the bat in training camp. The reality of the situation is Campbell better do good for his sake, at least if he wants to remain a starter. |
