What if it was a dog that ran out in front of the car?

GMScud 06-18-2009, 11:12 PM Denver's got plenty of incentive to sell high on their passing game while it still has value. Clearly, with their OL and Moreno, McDaniels is going to make his mark while running the football. So why not take the stray pieces of the passing game, and trade them to teams willing to throw first rounders at young, but unaccomplished talent? Great point. If I was a Denver fan, I'd still be annoyed at losing Cutler and most likely Marshall only to see them replaced by Eddie Royal and Kyle Orton. But if they're gonna go, at least Denver is hoarding high draft picks for them. JoeRedskin 06-19-2009, 10:19 AM Intent or no intent, IMO people>animals. I am a dog owner and pet lover but the comparison is absurd. If Vick was drunk and hit a dog as it ran into the street in front of him, he (a)wouldn't have gone to jail; (b) would maybe be suspended 4 games for a DUI; and (c) still be playing in the league today. However, that's not what he did. Sorry, the Vick/Stallworth comparisons just got to me. Eknox 06-20-2009, 12:19 AM Give me Plaxico wouldn't have to give up draft picks to get him..
