i dont think dropped passes really effected or should be weighed to heavily in analyzing our inability to get things going thru the air. dropped passes are going to happen. but they can be killers like:
the 1st play of the reg season 2 (or 3 seasons ago) years ago where gibbs called for a play action deep ball to llyod. everyone executed, JC threw a perfect long ball and lloyd just dropped the damn thing.
playoff game against seattle, second half, seahawks never touched the ball on a kickoff, that tall receiver we picked up from NYG recovered the ball, TC threw a ball to cooley near the sideline at the 2 but cooley dropped it. i think a penalty gets called pushes us back, suisham misses the fg. momentum killer.
these individual drops on important plays really stick out to me more than any of our receivers having a consistent case of the dropsies like braylon edwards or TO for that matter.
i really like the idea of going into next season with thomas and davis as 2nd year players. i think both have the potential to be big time players, especially the raw athletic ability of davis. thomas to me seems alil to thin or frail to be that tall physical reciever but we shall see. he comes off to me as a torry holt more than a TO. thin, lanky, tall with good speed and cuts, hopefully he can learn to run routes like holt.
go skins!!
